It’s your favorite Commissioner – THE COMMISH – back again and fired up for another wild ride through the NFL season! I hope this message finds you well (and ready to dominate).
First things first:
If you received this email by mistake or no longer wish to participate, simply reply with “Please remove” and I’ll take care of it. No hard feelings.

Below are all the details for this year’s pool. If you know anyone new who wants in, just shoot me their email or send them mine and we’ll get them signed up.
There are a few new updates this season, so please read carefully. In the past we have used "run your pool" they have merged with "SPLASH" but they have assured me that you old run your pool account is linked directly to splash and this is supposed to be a seamless merger.
A couple things about that..... Their site offers paid pools where they handle the cabbage, we ARE NOT participating in that. Uncle Sam gets involved and certain states can't play etc etc and sticking with our normal way of life we will handle everything as we always have. venmo cashapp apple pay paypal etc. NO ZELLE this year sorry. If you are old school and don't do digital payment we can make arrangements.
With the coming change, the site is charging us a little bit more so that the players don't have a fee for the site, with that being said our payout will NOT change. We have just made some adjustments to accommodate.
There will be basic pool rules listed on the website but the payouts will not be listed on there. As far as they know this is a free fun pool. Once the pot is set (after week 5 buy-ins) I will send out the total payout.
If some of the instructions on this dont lineup with SPLASH, this email was composed prior to the merger and i was not able to log in splash to test out. If you have questions please let me know.

• Unlimited Entries Allowed
• Payment Deadline: September 1st, 2025 at 8pm west coast
• 90% Payout to Winners!
(6% covers pool software, 4% for… recreational morale support)
Last year’s payout was over 35,000!
• Pick Deadline:
Sunday at 1 PM ET – or prior to kickoff if you choose an earlier game.
If you miss the deadline, your pick defaults to the largest available favorite. You get two automatic picks, and you’re eliminated after your third miss.
• Win to Survive. A loss or a tie knocks you out.
• Starting Week 16: You must make TWO picks per week.
• After Week 18: If there’s still a tie, the pot will be split evenly.

• Week 1 Promo ….(8/1 TODAY –8/9):
Pay for 4 or more entries during Week 1 of sign-ups, and THE COMMISH will give you 1 free entry before the deadline! (Free entries will be issued just before final count to avoid confusion please do not add your own entry.)
• Buybacks:
Available only in Weeks 1–5, one per entry.
Prices go up each week:
Week 1: $55
Week 2: $60
Week 3: $65
Week 4: $70
Week 5: $75
• Must be purchased by Thursday kickoff following your loss. ONE BUYBACK PER ENTRY.
• Each buyback adds $50 to the main pot.
• After Week 5: No buybacks. A loss = you’re done.
• Game Cancellation Policy:
• If the season is canceled with 20+ players remaining, everyone is refunded.
• If fewer than 20 remain, the pot is split.
• Canceled/Rescheduled Games:
