"One day, the Texans offensive line will actually protect Deshaun Watson in a game, but this wasn't that day. For the second week in a row, Watson got hammered by the opposing defense. Against the Jaguars, Watson was sacked four times, marking the eighth straight game that he's been sacked four or more times, which ties an NFL record. Although the Texans struggled on offense, their defense came through in the win. Whitney Mercilus forced a fumble on a huge fourth quarter sack and J.J. Watt ended up recovering it at Jacksonville's 11-yard line, setting up Houston's only touchdown of the game."

"With a sixth-round rookie starting at quarterback and multiple starters out due to injury, the Jaguars had no business keeping this game close, but they were able to do that thanks to a gutsy performance from Gardner Minshew and the team's defense. After watching the Texans explode for 414 yards in Week 1, the Jags managed to hold Houston to just 263 total yards. Of course, the best news for the Jags is that they look like they're going to be in good hands with Minshew. Not only did the rookie quarterback throw for 213 yards, but he threw a TD pass with just 30 seconds left to play that could have won the game, but the Jags weren't able to convert their two-point conversion."

"Personal Plays on Twitter (188-122 for 60.6% since ‘11). Last one was a winner in August so let’s cash this too! I’ve been leaning to Kansas City all day. Then the Poison bet combined with the move to -4 in the last few minutes had me pull the trigger. KC -4 over Baltimore!"

"Public was heavy to GB with sharp buying on PHI to push it down to 3.5. It's right on the edge of a Pro's v Joe's if not for the fact that public is arriving on the Eagles within the past hour. Funny how it was 4 or 4.5 and they show up at +3.5. Total is mixed action."

"Mr. Poison didn't do too well on prime time yesterday but it was totals and he is back at it today! He's going with $220K to win $100K on San Francisco -220 over Cleveland. He's never met a moneyline chalk he didn't love! Line was also -213 an hour ago"

"NFL THURSDAY NIGHT ODDS AND LINE MOVES: PROS ON BRONCOS, JOES ON CHIEFS IN AFC WEST CLASH

Oct 17, 2019"

This AFC West clash is shaping up as a Pros vs. Joes contest at Caesars books.

“Three times as much money on Kansas City,” Davis said of pointspread action. “All the sharp money is on the Broncos, all the square money is on the Chiefs. We really like our position at the moment.”

"Caesars sportsbooks opened the total at 50 and dropped to 48 late Wednesday morning, but the number crept back to 49 by Thursday morning. Interestingly, the wiseguys are talking looks at both sides of the total.

“Twice as much money on the Under than the Over,” Davis said. “Sharps are on Under 50.5 and Over 48.”

TSP said: "Public is split on the side with only a slight public edge on KC. Less than you would expect. Sharp money bought Denver to +3.5 but that was as far as they went. On the total, public is on the UNDER by a small margin and sharps are leaning decently to OVER 49. Not a Pro v Joe."

TSP notes:

"Public is all over the Cowboys and the OV. Not really a surprise for a prime-time game. There has been a sharp buy on Giants primarily at +7.5 and a little at +7. Total is mixed for sharp action not just at the top but throughout the sharp money in action."
