Talk has been about Brady being MVP thus far. I can be fine with him winning it if he plays 12 of 16 games, but cannot have him leading when playing 4 of 8. Problem is, who else would be winning it as of now? Dak?

A real dark horse is drew brees.
probably going to break the single season passing record this season and you can get him at a great price because the saints are 3-4.

this is the best offense we ever had. better then the super bowl team.

And the d is growing by leaps and bounds by the week.

getting our best d starter back this week who has been out since week 1 our stud 1st round pick coming back this week also.

saints about to go on a big run and take the nfc south.

this will give him momentum going into the mvp talk conversation.

he is certainly not the fav but well worth the price

Are there odds posted anywhere? Haven't seen anything up.

Derek Carr is a nice darkhorse. His resume is just as good as Ryan right now but he isn't the same type of name.

If the Raiders win the best division in the NFL after they have absolutely sucked for the last 14 years then I think he would stand a really good chance to win.

I'm not the biggest Matt Ryan fan. He is a top 10-12 QB that happens to have a top 2 WR and a good OL/RB's at his disposal while playing indoors in a division that is usually below average in defenses.

However it is interesting how perception can change on just a few plays. If the refs call that Sherman PI on Julio in Seattle then they're 6-2 with wins @ Seattle, @ Denver and he is the clear frontrunner.

L5Y, USC is 4-0 vs SEC, outscoring them 167-48!!!

Derek Carr. 5-0 on the f'ing road. Just threw for 500+ yards on 43 attempts w/ no INTs. He leads the league in comeback wins this season and has the lowly Raiders tied for division lead and battling for the playoffs. 113 passer rating, and on and on.

He IS the most valuable player in the league.

Stop it. Saints won't even sniff playoffs.

Carr and Dak deserve consideration at the halfway point.

Like D Carr a lot but he really isn't. But it is mostly a stats/team performance contest.

Brady/Rodgers/Ben are the most valuable players. That is a different discussion than who is going to win the award and for betting purposes though.

you have to put brees on that list.
no way the saints can win without him.

An absolutely brutal no-call there.

Current odds:

Brady +150
Elliott +600
D Johnson +1000
Ryan +1200
Luck +1200
Rodgers +1600
Prescott +1800

Carr and Brees are both +3300, behind those above plus Wilson, Rivers, Jones and even with Bell, Bradford and V Miller.

i dont understand the logic behind brady being such a huge fav.
they were 3-1 without him probably would have been 4-0 without him if they did not have to go all the down to the 3rd qb on the depth chart.

many other players more valuable then brady this season.
