Derek Carr is a nice darkhorse. His resume is just as good as Ryan right now but he isn't the same type of name.

I'm not the biggest Matt Ryan fan. He is a top 10-12 QB that happens to have a top 2 WR and a good OL/RB's at his disposal while playing indoors in a division that is usually below average in defenses.
However it is interesting how perception can change on just a few plays. If the refs call that Sherman PI on Julio in Seattle then they're 6-2 with wins @ Seattle, @ Denver and he is the clear frontrunner.
Derek Carr. 5-0 on the f'ing road. Just threw for 500+ yards on 43 attempts w/ no INTs. He leads the league in comeback wins this season and has the lowly Raiders tied for division lead and battling for the playoffs. 113 passer rating, and on and on.
