Thursday:

Pitt -5' -106 (@ Cincy)
Pitt will stop the Cincy running game (worst in the NFL @ 56 yds per game) and force Joey F to put the ball up to unfamiliar receivers as they go after him (20 sacks tied for 2nd in the NFL) That all spells trouble for the Bengal offense. The Cinci D is giving up the third most points per game eclipsed by only Dallas and Baltimore.

Would take two, or three or four unscripted pass play bombs to keep Cincy in this game.

Sunday early:

Jacksonville +3 +102
The Jags beat San Fran and Kansas City consecutively before falling to Seattle's tough D. They'll get back on track vs a Puka Nakua less Ram.

Hate starting the day with a loser but it looks like that's what I've got in London. Were the Jags out pub crawlin' last night? Jeesh.

Add Sunday 1:00 games.

NY Jets +1 -113 (vs Car)
Last week Justin Fields was held to -10 yds passing (yep -10 yds net passing!!!) and only 31 yds rushing. Can you say embarrassing?! In the previous three games he started and completed he was 68/95 for 727 yds; 3 TDs and 0 picks. Add in 26 rushes for 155 yds and 3 rushing TDs. He's better than last week for sure. Redemption today against another of the NFL's worst teams. And a little juicer - Bryce Young is 1-17 in his three year career when on the road, the only win coming in overtime @ Atlanta on the last game of last season.

Lost Wages +13 -104 (@ KCy)
Over the last two seasons the Chiefs are 0-5 ATS in the next game after they were SU winners as dogs or as -3 or less favorites. They'll be smarting after kicking the growlin' Lions' butts. The Chiefs are also 2-1 SU and 0-3 ATS when hosting the Raiders in the last three years. Oh yea, Kansas City's lines in those games were much like today - -13; -10'; -7.

New Orleans +4' -106 (@ Chi)
The Bears have been riding the back of a +8 turnover differential (tied for best in the NFL). But the Aints ain't exactly swiss cheese with a turnover margin of +4 themselves. Spencer Rattler has one interception in six starts. He isn't playing Seattle or Buffalo (his two road losses) on the road today.

Tennessee +6' -109 (vs NEn)
Tenny beat New England in Tenny last year - a 20-17 overtime win. That should give them confidence. There has been a lot of talk about Mike Vrabel coming back and showing the Titan management that they made a big mistake after firing him three years ago after he lost the last seven games of the season. But I'm guessing that the Titties are listening to all that noise and are intent on showing Mike Vrabel something themselves. Teny is back home after three consecutive road games where they got their first win of the season. Expecting them to be competitive here. Maybe get their second win.

Later games later.

Last (Monday) 0-1 -100
YTD 38-44 -786 (beware 1-9 my last 10!!!)

Thursday:

LA Chargers -3 -116 (vs Minny)
The Chargers are in the Division with the resurgent Chiefs and the Division leading Broncos. They got Quentin Johnson back last week to bolster their receiving corps and get All Pro Left Tackle, Joe Alt, back this week to help right the ship that started the season with a win over Kansas City, then two more wins before stumbling through a 1-3 stretch losing to AFC surprise Indianapolis in their last. I'm expecting to see the Herbert on display in that Week 1 win vs Kansas City. Be aware that we're into Week 8 and that Minny hasn't had a true road game since Week one when they snuck by the not ready for prime time Bears, 27-24.

Sunday early:

Atlanta -7 +104 (vs Mia)
The Falcons have a pass rush. Tua will wther.

Buffalo -7' +105 (@ Car)
Buffalo needs a win badly. They had a bye week to figure out how to get it against an improving Carolina team.

Baltimore -2' -113 (vs Chi)
Bears have been living off the turnover. 11-1 in their last three games whichinclude a 1 point win in Vegas and another 1 point win@ Wash minus Terry McLauren.

Cleveland +7 -106 (@ NEn)
The Pats are in a negative situation for the cover after three consecutive road wins then home.

New York Jets +6 -114 (@ Cincy)
Justin Fields is the definition of Jeckyl / Hyde. It's Jeckyl's turn.

New Orleans +4 -115 (vs TBy)
Tampa is 3-0 both SU and ATS their last three visits to the Super Dome including a 51-27 beating last season. They are wounded ducks, err I mean Bucs, limping into the Dome today.

More games later.
