The New York Yankees lose thier first game today opening the doors to their brand spanking new stadium. All those people who took off work today being excited, kids there, the pre game ceromonies etc. etc. etc.

the fans were excited and rightly so.....losing the game doesnt make them look stupid, just shows they werent a great team today....

stadium is still beautiful, and I doubt anyone that was there for history, wishes they werent cuz they lost..

Lets add it up for the guys that paid $2500 for ground level seats. Other team scored 10 runs so they paid $250 for each run scored by the Indians.

$2500 total, not counting the 10k each probably lost on betting the game.

I'm assuming it was sung in the middle of the seventh inning today at new Yankee Stadium. Apparently, there's a law keeping patrons from leaving during the song (for example, to go to the bathroom). And there's a lawsuit from an arrest last year.

Anyway, it might have been tough to enforce that law today as Cleveland scores nine runs in the top of the seventh.
