New York Jets -2.5 -- EXPLAIN THIS TO ME

I'm not a Bears fan so this is definitely NOT homer talk. I actually hate them, but I just don't understand this line. You're telling me on neutral field the Jets are as good as the Bears???? Not a chance. Can someone please explain this line to me??? Is it a situational play?

Bears have a great offense and below average defense. The Jets have a below average offense and great defense right now. I see this as the Bears having a .5 advantage on neutral ground and the Jets getting 3 points for being home.

Agree,just different strengths and weaknesses is all. I like the jets here as teams have not faired well in back2back primetime and also going coast to coast I hope helps the jets. Yes I'm a lions fan

I'm aware of all the factors you mentioned, but this is one of the most puzzling lines I've EVER seen. No team quarterbacked by Geno Smith can be good. Even against the defenseless Bears

Jets will be undervalued all year, in my opinion. There defensive front is amazingly good and it's the kind of in your face pressure that frustrates Cutler and forces him to make mistakes.

Their offense has been surprisingly efficient -- to some. So far, they have the best running game in the NFL. I don't necessarily expect that to last, but most aren't aware just how solid Chris Ivory has been.

I don't find this line to be shocking at all and I think NYJ is the sharp play.

Yea Jets front 4 is VERY good, Definitely in the Top 1/3 in the league... Especially Wilkerson who managed to get himself thrown out of the game last week. The Bears defense, although better than they were last year, will still end up grading below average by the end of the year IMO.
