Am I the only one who thought the original Top Gun was one of the worst movies ever???

I bought dinner and he bought the movie tickets so I just went with it and expected the worse
It was alright
I guess having such low expectations helped....didnt watch any movie on that list otherwise except TerminatorDarkFate....it blew and now that Arnold has turned woke fuk him as well.
It’s so weird that conservatives are pointing to this movie as a victory for them. Do they know that Tom Cruise, trump and their other heros have never served a day in the military. I thought they hated Hollywood??? Lmao. The truth is Hollywood is full of incredibly talented people that generate billions a year in revenue and these conservatives who hate Hollywood are a bunch of losers complaining about masculinity when none of them have ever done anything masculine their entire lives. I'm not a big fan of Tom Cruise just because I have seen him on a set and how he treats the crew that work on his films.
What I can say is I was blown away at how good Maverick is. The flying and dog fight scenes are incredible.
It has a great story line and excellent acting by all the leads.
The films is a bit long for me but in my humble opinion it is far better than the original and is a very good movie.
Go see it you won't be disappointed.
