New to Forum.... Wanted to Share.....

Hello, all. New to the forum, and just wanted to contribute what I have been doing lately. I have been posting at btb.com for a while now, and decided to join the Rx. I developed this system about a month ago, and it has been hitting at about 60% ever since. I'm not guaranteeing this from now on, just saying that it has so far.

I'm not going to explain the system completely, but it takes into account teams on winning streaks and teams on losing streaks, and predicts who will win and cover. Group A is the teams on winning streaks, and Group B is the teams on losing streaks. Per the record at the bottom, you can see that A is doing much better. Here is my post from the other site:

Remember, this is about long term success, not big winning nights every night. Patience is the key. When I started this, I was hoping to hit at 55%. The system was at 25-12 at one point (68%), and then dropped back down around 56%. Now its back up to 59%. Point is, there will be wins (14-6 on Saturday) and there will be losses (3-6 about a week and a half ago), so don't go betting the farm on one round of plays.

Lets see how this pans out. Lets keep winning. Its fun.

Don't assume people don't care or aren't interested...just that some of us have seen these "trend" systems come and go every season. FYI, this isn't a new concept...there are several significant "systems" players that incorporate some of the same principles as yours. Enjoy the statistical aberrations while you're ahead. Long-term, I have yet to see any W/L trend systems that are any better than the standard variation one might expect on coin flips. I'd be much more interested in your documentation of your system after you've bet it for 200 games. Then we'll see if it's valuable or not. Good luck with it.

I've seen "trend" systems come and go, too. But I don't think 60% over 80 plays is anything to scoff at. I haven't hit 60% over 80 plays on my own capping EVER. I'm not saying this is a godsend - just something to keep in mind. Its made me a ton of cash so far.

I'm not scoffing at all about 60% over 80 plays. That's very solid and it's very profitable for you. However you do it...picking winners at 60% is something most people only dream about. So enjoy it. I hope it lasts. My only point was that a sample size of 80 plays isn't enough to statiustically validate the long-term value of any system.

You're exaclty right. And that is precisely why I mentioned above that this isn't about winning every single night, but long term results.
