Missed opportunities in the red zone - check.

Matt Ryan takes unnecessary sacks - check.

Offense fails to sustain a late game drive - check.

Defense fails to make a critical late game stop - check.

Fail to come close to scoring a TD on 4th down - check.

Why were so many people on this team tonight???

I never understood it either. Ranting and raving dirty birds when it’s a fact SB winners are 11-5 ATS since 2000. Here’s another stat that said favoring eagles. A team who was home in playoffs and won and are now playing again at home are 41-21 SU and 37-25-1 ATS.

Teams Home week 1 Thursday are 13-2 SU and 10-3-2 ATS.

i will never understand how Sark got the job. people keep saying he is a great coordinator but Lane Kiffin coordinated alabama to a perfect record, sark comes in and does the national championship game....they lose. then he gets the atlanta falcons job, who had just gone to the super bowl, after coordinating 1 game the prior year for a college team and he lost that game. i do not understand (and never have) where people seem to feel he is an offensive guru.

This Falcons team is bad and has no clear path to improvement except for real changes this offseason.

They did have a number of injuries but that is part of the game. The Falcons have woefully underachieved.

Pretty much like they do every year.

Lots went with the Falcons, there were some fru-fru "trends" that said to go with the Falcons.
IMO the Falcons gave up, in the cold, injuries galore, out of the playoff hunt, on the road, coach probably will be fired soon.
It was risky taking GB but they were healthier, at home, #7 offense vs #32 defense, and wanted to show that their coach was the problem with their team so they were fired up, Falcons just wanted to get TF out of there.

Freeman being out has really hurt in some of the short yardage situations, but even with him, they were a redzone nightmare. This is what happens when you hire a head coach who knows nothing about offense.
