post ac**** the street

Hey guys,
Can we call a truce here. Everyone is a little sensitive. Alot at stake here. You guys can all add alot to this business by doing what you are doing. Trying to help the players. Thats whats important here. The issue at hand is getting these players funds back to them. Peep, Butternuts,Major,Clevfan,Minnow,General,Shrink and all the moderators are trying to do the same thing. Get people paid. So lets end all this and call a truce. Helps everyone out. And then we can focus on the problems at hand. Each one of you can make a difference and if you team together it would make a real difference. I have worked with each and every one of you to get people paid. So I know it can make a difference.
Just for the record.
Peep...The escrow account was a great idea. Really works for the players. Those who came in on it are protected. Nice work. You have also done your work in helping keep a positive attitude and making daily contacts to see what is going on here. Thanks for the support.
Major,Clevfan,Minnow....Great work getting the info to the players about the situation in Panama. And for all the uncovering of government numbers and contacts. That stuff will work I feel to getting this situation resolved. Major did post up and have a account with BetPanAm but that account has been innactive for months now after the balance went to zero. He does still have other active accounts with Betpanam that he also posted up the funds for.
The Shrink and The General. They have also been working behind the scenes. Also making daily contact to see what is going on. I must add that The General is one of my favorites to deal with. Seems to be a real good guy.
Now back to the issues at hand. I was away for a week attending to some business. All the moderators were aware of my leave. I do know that money went out last week. people were being paid. Not much but still some went out. I have also been told by Tuesday more will go out. I have heard this before so I am also waiting to see if this happens before I relax. I truly feel with the investors handing us money every week they fully intend to make this right. The fact that they are bringing money in makes me think this will all be over soon. I dont understand what they are feuding about either. Makes no sense to me. But we are trying to do all we can as a group to get people paid. Havent been posting as much seems to flame everyone back up.
So you guys work out your grievances. As a group you could add alot to the offshore world.

Scotty

translation of all that BS= we aren't paying anyone. oh we will pay 20 people 200 bucks each but we won't pay anyone who is owed decent money a penny.

this post is hysterical - everyone is great - you guys seem like swell guys - stay positive -I was away on business - that is like Bush leaving the white house on 9/12 to go do some business and saying don't worry I told Rice, Powell and Cheney that I would be away -
the investors are putting money in - BULLSH$T - if they were going to pay they would put up all the money up and pay - this is a sick fvcking joke.

post ac**** the street from cindy-

Scott, Peep, and all other interested parties

As with any business the name of the game is CREDIBILITY. Once your "goodwill" is damaged by words or deeds you leave yourself extremely vunerable. I've had the opportunity to work with many bookmakers. Some have been very successful and others failed miserably.

Success is brought about by having vision, desire, motivation, resources, and above all INTEGRITY. I've yet to find a successful business that would ALLOW it's good name, which in bookmaking is all you have, to be slandered because your store can not HONOR it's word.

If the name of my store was BETPANAM I would have utilized my resources to secure funding before anyone could say I did not pay on demand. There called LOANS, and GOOD businessmen have access to these. If you tell me you no longer have the ability to borrow, then you are of little value in the future because this problem will continue to reoccur under the existing business model.

Scott, you speak of investors. Please do not insult the intelligence of this or any other forum member. Your store has no assests, you lease office space, you lease all your electronic equipment and software. Your accounts payable are probably close to one million dollars. Your goowill has been shattered by a month long saga of no pay/slow pay stories. Your credibility is destroyed. Trust is no longer an option. Now who in their right mind would opt to invest in your store. The correct answer is NOBODY.

My point is give up the investor crap and move on, there's another willing and ready store to hire a topgun like Scott. Your basically like a doormat you just clean the feet of those above you.

My best wishes to those that are owed money, but I would expect the worst from this gang of thugs who veil themselves under the title of bookmakers.

getting it slowly is alot better than not getting it at all.

also, i did read that there was a bailout type offer with a book already in place over at the OGD site so if anyone is interested in this one go over and check out that thread i believe the bailout offer in the thread came from sting's site.

I have never read such bullshit in all my life.
Blah Blah Blah!!! If you have money in an offshore book I would be prepared to lose it at anytime. These are bookies for christ sakes. No book is 100% safe. If you play at new books you are an idiot. Lower your odds at getting F#*ked and only play at the solid shops and keep your balances low. And if you can't afford to lose your $$$ don't post up offshore period!!

I feel a bit bad for Scotty here, since he seems like a good guy whose hands are more or less tied. He takes the brunt of the (totally justified) steam while the real culprits are hiding from us and contemplating what they want to do with OUR money!!

I'd really like to see the names and other details of these "investors" (or more appropriately -- thieves) posted in big letters for the world to see. We have a right to know who is fvcking us over.

Oh lord. Please spare me.

He has been lying ever since they started (the 500k bond) and has spewed nothing but lies the last couple months. How Pan Am was doing great, then after the shit hit the fan how the money was being sent and would be available in a coupel days to pay everyone. Newsflash Daryl, those statements were coming from scotty, not investors.

Either he is a totally dishonest or he is just the dumbest most gullible manager in the history of business and has no clue whats going on around HIS sportsbook.

Where is the 500k bond he boasted of? Or do you beleive he had no clue there wasn't one?

Maybe I'm being a little overly critical but I don't see how anyone can feel bad for a guy who pretty much lied to everyone every single day for weeks regarding their payouts while in the process of stealing peoples money.

Would anyone here play at a book that hired Scott after this?

How about a thread with the names of every person with ownership or management ties to a failed sportsbook AND a big asterisk next to their name if they're currently with another book.
