What a joke...The guy comes to the conference holding hands with his wife, then announces he's a gay man, while his wife doesn't bat an eye, still with a slight smile on her face..

...Fvcking freaks

It's called a 'beard', lots of gay men have one - a woman who is sympathetic (usually, sometimes she's just in the dark but that takes real stupidity most of the time) and helps out the guy.

I'd say it took balls for him to come out, although maybe he was just blackmailed into it, you never know.

The "other man" was none other than Golan Capel, the Israeli agent he tried to hire as his terrorism advisor before it was revealed that he's not an American citizen.

I'll leave it up to you to think about why an Israeli agent was blackmailing a sitting US governor.

You think this guy knew some dirt on McGreevey?

THE PROBLEM WITH GOVERNOR MCGREEVEY’S ‘STRAIGHT TALK’

Governor James McGreevey was elected on his campaign theme “Straight Talk.”
The problem with McGreevey’s “Straight Talk” is that “straight” is a cover-up of what he really is.

There is really nothing “straight” about Jim McGreevey. His voting record in the State Legislature and as Mayor of Woodbridge is one of tax-and-spend liberalism.

Now, he’s done an about-face and is preaching like a conservative Republican about cutting Big Government.

If you believe that then you might want to buy some wetlands in Florida for development.

Those who know McGreevey intimately know he is not “straight.” It’s just a word he uses to make him appear exactly the opposite of what he is.

The big question the media avoided asking during the Governor’s race is why McGreevey’s first wife divorced him and moved to Canada with their only child, a girl who’s now nine years old.

Why wasn’t McGreevey’s ex-wife and daughter at his inauguration at the pinnacle of his career, while two weeks earlier Mike Bloomberg’s ex-wife attended his inauguration as Mayor of New York City?

The liberal media has trouble asking hard questions about liberals and their positions and their pasts.

What voters and taxpayers should be asking is, “Will the real Jim McGreevey please stand up?” We’d all like to know who you really are.

There are those in the State Legislature and in Woodbridge where McGreevey served as mayor in the ‘90s who know where McGreevey’s coming from. But they don’t like to talk about it – “straight” talk, or otherwise.

Why? Because no one in today’s politically-correct society will go where McGreevey has gone or ask him about it because, well, it’s just not PC.

So Jim McGreevey’s hypocritical “Straight Talk” – his message to “the people” – stands as is, until only Jim McGreevey is willing to stand up and come clean about who he really is.

As Jerry Seinfeld would say, “Not that there’s anything wrong with that!”

As a life-long journalist who deals in facts, and reality, I simply want to hear from Jim McGreevey. I don’t want to hear it from others about the Jim McGreevey the general public doesn’t know. I want to hear it from Jim McGreevey himself.

The liberals and their cohorts in the media know how to play the game. Bill Clinton was a master at the art of obfuscation and fooling people with words that had no meaning, such as “is” is not “is” or “alone” is not “alone.”

It must be a liberal thing. Use as many words as you want, but never, ever say anything that communicates a true meaning, like “Straight Talk.”

Nah, he's just your typical knuckle-dragging mouth-breathing piece of shit who worships a stinking cunt rag like Christine Whitman, who raped the state, left it 5 billion dollars in debt, and sold her office to the highest bidder before running off to DC before the people could find out what a thieving scumbag she really was.

he was his boyfriend and McGreevey had him on the payroll for 110,000 AFTER HE WAS FIRED!

NJ dems are a bunch of crooked bastards. he will now try not to resign his office until less than 60 days before the election so Dems avoid an election and avoid losing that state in the presidential election.

I'm sure there will be a big deal made over the fact that he came out of the closet....

Maybe I'm just too practical....give me a politician who is honest in his business dealings and the issues that directly effect the public and the economy....that's what he's elected to do....that's his job....if he's a bad politician you don't want him in office whether he's straight or gay....

I could give a $hit less about who he takes into the bedroom, that's his private life....his own morality....his own choice....it's a free country, or so the illusion appears...

Homosexuality is not my choice of lifestyle, but I am tolerant of those who choose that for thier own life....

Bottom line....I don't care whether he or she is gay, lesbian, or celibate.....Give me a good, honest politician who can do his job well and be an asset to the people....(I'm trying really hard to suppress a cynical laugh as I type the last sentence about the "good, honest,...asset to the people" part)

That rant was great and all, but he had his boyfriend on his payroll for 110K after he was forced to quit as NJ head of homeland security because he is not an American citizen. So after doing nothing but raising taxes on the people of NJ it turns out 110k a year was going to him and his gay ass boyfriend.

Ok, so if he's crooked then boot him out, whether he's gay or straight is irrelevant to his job as a politician...

Yeah, that's a liberal thing all right. No way in the world would any other political ideology adopt such a tactic. No way would you see a conservative spin the truth, or a fascist manipulate language. Neo-Conservatives? Bastions of truth, they are!

Nope, only liberals have the talent, perhaps even the skill, to do such a thing.

The very fact that a Conservative writes this, gets it published, complains within said publication that the media is Liberal demonstrates his own personal ability to "never ever say anything that communicates a true meaning."

What a misogynist this McGreevey creep is, trotts out his wife (with that prozac grin on her face) to stand beside him while he outs himself. I'm not saying it couldn't happen to a conservative, but it was really classless (I've learned to expect nothing less from the Libs).
