New Fantasy Hockey Update

Thanks to some suggestions--I checked out ESPN and it looks better than Yahoo-so we are going with it. It appears to have FREE LIVE Scoring!!!
We currently have 10 teams--if I get 2 more by 9pm then it will be 12. If someone is interested post here.

SEND ME AN IM with your EMAIL ADDRESS INSIDE. I will then email you an invitation to the league. I want to have everyone in by this Saturday please.

Also--there are a few possible draft dates. As of right now--my suggestion is Monday October 6th at 9pm EST. I am sure we can not satisfy everyone--but you can prerank your players if you can't attend.
Please check this date and leave thoughts in here.

Scoring WILL be Head to Head
Categories will be chosen after discussion here--but I will post a skeleton one here later. Please go on the site and look around and let me know.
Lets use this thread for all information until the league is formed.

Just finished a draft at ESPN tonight and I must say I give the site a thumbs up compared to Yahoo. Easy to navigate. Just one bit of advice. Make sure we all get to the site early when the draft starts as you'll need to download the draft program and it took a few minutes to complete. Other than that...was a very smooth draft. Everyone should be happy with the site.

Adjust to SIX playoff teams so as to help inspire active participation in the final couple months for those who enter February in the bottom half of standings.

Playoff BYE for top two teams

Playoffs rounds = 1 week, 1 week and 2 weeks

Sorry to Van fan who never made it back in.

The settings that were on their now were automatic. I will go on and change to 6 playoff teams now that we have 12 spots full. I also will look at the scoring categories and we can has them out. I want to have this taken care of by Friday so everyone knows all the rules going into their "draft prep".

There's actually polls set up on the site where we can vote on changes like this WW. Makes for a more diplomatic way of doing things.
