Is this a reasonable statement? Almost all totals rise it seems , especially totals of games like MNF , or special games as squares everywhere want to see points and action, who likes to bet a game and root for no action ,lol?

Does anyone just play UNDER?

Good thread Journeyman.

i cannot say always, but i do not play many overs in any sport. it is defying your logic to go under, if you like/want to see action. like you said, bettors do not want to bet that it will be boring. something that i like to think is that totals are more guesswork than sides. some will see the other way though.

tis why bookmakers get the money

Hache what did you play, the whole game? I have given up on thinking points can be scored in this series....LMFAO I had UNder in MIlwaukee/Florida yesterday...Was cruising along til an 8 run sixth inning! I was not a happy fellow!

if you look at the gold sheet numbers everything is 50/50 if there was an advantage on anything it would get hammered, every play is like the spin of roulette wheel past history means nothing

Yeah if it gets wide open it will be a sweat, as fouls will come into it......You should be okay Hache

You need NJ to get this thing tight!

I dunno Journey, if San Antoinio continues to have a pretty good lead, they will milk the 24 a bit more.....Free throws will be a factor though

Teddy don`t you agree though, most games get pushed up instead of down , just from the standpoint people bet to see action?

Especially on big game or one game, i.e. MNF or NBA Finals

the thing about over's is that every now & then a overtime or extra-inning event comes around to bail out

Hache I disagree, if San Antonio maintains a 789 point lead it will get close , because they will push and then fouls(Nets)...Just like Game 3

Anyone got data to show %'s of unders vs overs for a period of time. I would guess close to 50/50 as well.
