BOISE, Idaho (Ticker) -- No. 18 Boise State looks to wrap up its second straight Western Athletic Conference title Saturday when it hosts Nevada.

Ryan Dinwiddie passed for 273 yards and two touchdowns and Tim Gilligan caught six passes for 149 yards and a score as the Broncos clinched at least a share of the WAC crown last Friday with a 31-17 victory over Fresno State.

Boise State (10-1, 6-0) has won 16 straight WAC games and is 20-2 since joining the conference in 2001. The Broncos are seeking a fifth title in six years as they captured the Big West crown in their final two years in that league.

Boise State has been nearly unbeatable on its blue turf, winning 17 straight and 31 of its last 32 home games. The Broncos have scored 128 points in their last two home appearances, beating San Jose State, 77-21, and Texas-El Paso, 51-21.

Dinwiddie has passed for 3,327 yards this year, just 37 shy of the single-season school record. Running back David Mikell needs only 34 yards to give Boise State a 1,000-yard rusher and 1,000-yard receiver. Gilligan has caught 64 passes for 1,149 yards.

Nevada (6-5, 4-3) defeated Hawaii, 24-14, two week ago to snap a three-game losing streak and keep alive hopes of its first winning season since 1998. The Wolf Pack finished 5-7 last year.

Among Nevada's wins this season was a 28-17 victory at Washington, arguably the program's biggest since making the jump to Division I-A in 1992.

Nevada's resurgence can be traced to the return of Chance Kretschmer, who has rushed for 1,107 yards and 12 touchdowns on 252 carries.

In 2001, Kretschmer became just the second freshman in NCAA history to lead the nation in rushing, but he was limited to 67 yards last year after suffering a season-ending torn ACL in Nevada's second game.

Boise State routed the Wolf Pack, 44-7, last season as Brock Forsey rushed for 187 yards and four TDs. The Broncos lead the all-time series, 17-12.
