It's standard policy with NETeller that they want you to make at least one telephone contact for verification.

Yeah...I like that they're careful like that, but I still got worried that my money was gone.

With the staggering amount of online fraud today, its great to know neteller is as vigilant as they are

Neteller asks for A social security number. But no one says that it has to be your social!

Let me try to explain what the problem is (to me). A couple of weeks ago, I made a withdrawal request on a sportsbook website. (I have done this with Carib and WSEX with no problem. This time I recived an email back from the SPORTSBOOK that they needed me to answer 3SECURITY QUESTIONS. 1. Mother's Maiden Name, 2. Date of Birth and 3. Favorite Color?
To make a VERY LONG story short, I called Neteller and they closed my account while I answered all the questions. Later--I am told BY NETELLER, that it was NOT the book that wanted these questions answered, but Neteller. Well the email I received originally was NOT from Neteller. The first person I talked with at Neteller, I could barely understand her English!
That is why I do not understand, what is going on. When I later wrote an email to Neteller asking them if WSEX would be requiring me to answer questions, their reply by email was that WSEX migh do that but Neteller would not do that. I only want consistincy and all to be on the same page!

I don't understand why a book would want answers to these security questions and I would never give them to third parties without the consent of NETeller.

Woody, That makes two of us that don't understand. And it also looks like to me that Neteller may be involved with a book. (I mean there is NO DOUBT who asked me for the security it was the sportsbook on the email that I was sent. Neteller says: they (Neteller) "generated the questions"?

I can write a book about problems with Neteller. I like them, just think I am unlucky. Not thinking once I used them while on vacation that sent up a red flag, another time it was just a "random" audit. Now the SS# stuff is there.

One thing after another for me....
