O.k guys here the deal, I moved to Tennessee 2 months ago looking to buy a house. We are currently renting a nice lake front house. Here where the problem starts. I am not joking and i am dead serious about these stats (nothing to be brag about).
1. Since we have been in this house i have had 24 gambling sessions (days) and have not had a winning day in ANY of them.

2. I have bet 37 baseball games and my record (in this house) is 2-35 (THIS IS NOT B.S). After having white sox up 5-0 late against the worst team in baseball and losing i am convinced there is something going on here.It gets better...

3.I have bet 9 baseball games while i was away in North carolina and went 7-2

4. I went twice on casino boats in South Carolina and won both times.

Now heres the kicker....
I was talking with the neighbor today while i was fishing and he mentioned that it was nice that someone is finally living in the house again and how my kids enjoy the lake.In conversation i made a comment about it being strange that such a nice house was vacant for so long and this is what he told me: 2 people died in the house last year from carbon monoxide poisoning!!!!WTF???

I am not really that supersticous (sp?) but c'mon this is insane. When we left NY we had narrowed it down to buying in either North Carolina coast or Tennessee. We have a house we were interested in here but i am ready to get the hell out of this state and go to Carolina. I hate to make a life decision off something like this but i am really starting to believe there is something supernatural here. Look at the stats and tell me am i crazy or should i get the hell out....:monsters-

I can relate....I've recently found out that the "neighborhood rumor" is that the guy who lived here before I bought it murdered his wife in the bedroom. Solid sources too.

If I hear one more "at least you got new carpet" comment, someone is hitting the pavement....lol.

Pack it up and get out. The joint is cursed. I had a friend that got a steal on a place in L.A. becuase of a quadruple murder at the home. Within a year he relapsed with alcohol, wife left him and his straight A kids went south and joined a gang. ALL TRUE.

Time to go.

Would you consider posting the bets you play for the rest of the time you spend in that house?

I was thinking the same thing...Amityville horror story...

It has to be kind of creepy knowing people passed away in a freak accident like that..

Why aren't all homes made with carbon monoxide detectors...what an awful way to go!

makes me mad thinking about it

Randy,

We are in Laurel mountain lake. A private subdivision near madisonville about 1 hour from you. Reminds of the movie the village as you have to drive thru a bunch of woods to get to it. Perfect setting for a Jason movie:monsters-

I bought 2 new ones when we moved in (before i even knew about the deaths) due to my paranoia with the kids.

I don't know if you guys ever listen to COAST TO COAST AM with George Noory but you'll hear some crazy ghost stories on there. This one time he had a guest speaker that was a ghost hunter. He and his crew would go hunt out ghosts at the worst haunted places. Some of the stories he told were flat out unnerving. I remember staying up from like 11p-4am because I couldnt stop listening. Weird stuff.

I like listening him.Interesting (and sometimes disturbing) topics. Only thing that sucks is i get crappy reception here and when the wind blows a certain way i lose the signal. Come to think of it..... Is it the wind?????:icon_conf
