I just can't back a Nebraska team and that's talking about when they seemed stable. Lack of consistent QB play and lots of turmoil around the football program I just think it's USC or a no play.

Not yet, they are typically closer to game time. We've obviously had a great year to this point hope it continues

If USC play's it's game, they dominate Nebraska. If not, Nebraska can certainly pull an upset. There are so many intangables in this game that it is just about impossible to pick, especially with a line at USC -7.

i would think neb shows usc lots of stuff not on film this year and it'll take USC awhile to adjust.

Plumbing problems and "the source" is not floating to the top of the bowl yet!

torpe.... you must know by now that win on lose...... good or bad....... dunce or dummy...... you will always be laughed at, made fun of, and whatever in this forum. That as long as you continue to use your childish bullshit terminology to name your plays.

Has been pretty much stated to be that way by tons of posters and mods alike.

It's one thing to have a plan and another when you talk about executing that plan. There's only so much that Armstrong can do at the QB positions, so if it's things they haven't shown on film yet, it's probably pertaining to him with his legs and Sark is most likely prepared for that.

On the other side of the ball, I like USC's straight-line offense. Traditional, but a sense of urgency in getting playmakers the ball. I think they have the athletes to run Nebraska out of the gym, so to speak, and turnovers and settling for FG's is probably the only way Nebraska can make an upset happen in my opinion.

I think USC needs to run the ball and look for the RB's isolated on a depleted LB group. That takes advantage of Nebraska's weakness. USC playing it's "game" is throwing it around the yard. That also plays into Nebraska's strength which is pass defense. Top %completion QB vs top %completion defense. Run the ball and whittle away at a team that goes into mental lapses.

Huge Husker fan here but I would bet the house on USC tonight. Aside from the mental state of the team with all the drama surrounding Pelini's departure they have a ton of injuries. Two starting linebackers have not practiced and may not play. Two starting OL are out (including the top 2 centers). IMO the interim coach Barney Cotton should have been shown the door w/ Pelini. There is a reason that this the 3rd time he has been interim coach after his bosses were let go. If USC gets up early, I'm afraid this team will pack it in pretty quick.

Cornhuskers are a joke and USC doesn't give a crap. Take your pick!

I think USC cares plenty. Sark looking to get off to a 1-0 bowl start -- great for recruiting. Cody Kessler, with a great performance, can put his name in the prelims for next years Heisman and Agohlor wants to put on a show for NFL scouts. Plenty to be motivated about.

Well, the #1 center should have been #3 to start with. Clear nepotism, imo. Not even a dropoff from #2 to #3 center, imo, plus considering that he's gotten all the bowl reps. But I'm worried about the other nepotic OL, #68 and both tackles. I can't see a lot of time in the pocket in this game. Run and screens.

Agree 100% about the #1 center and we all know how well Armstrong does under pressure and his check downs. The OL has been terrible (thank you Barney Cotton)

He's in charge of the tackles and TE's. Garrison was in charge of the interior. I'll give it to Garrison, the interior was the only place where you could plug in a backup and make a case they was no dropoff, and sometimes were better.
