ND/Nevada total

This game looks to be an old fashion shootout. ND seems to have one of the elite WRs corps and Nevada has that dual threat veteran QB with a laser arm. Total in the low 60s, 2 non elite defenses...my research has been very limited so far but this one looks like a nice early total play for the season.

Any thoughts?

i dont know what to expect from Notre Dame except they should be able to score score score. Nevada has the team to drive the ball and put up points but ND defense might offer more resistance than some other teams out there

Since I don't have the time to hang out on their campus and watch their spring camp, I'll lean on the experts for their advise. Consensus says they'll have a pretty solid offense. Whiel they may not light up the scoreboard when they play USC, I'm pretty sure they'll hang much mroe than 17 on Nevada.

My big question is whether or not Nevada will score with ND, not the opposite.

ND usually doesn't play teams like Nevada, except for the service academies. Under Weis, ND really doesn't slow down many teams. Their DL would be considered a weakness. ND doesn't run much either. For them to be successful this year, the line play must improve greatly. I would expect ND to score 40 on them. The veteran offense Nevada has should put up the other 20+.

The two biggest problems with this total is ND plays Michigan the following week, and the total has risen 6 points. I cannot play the under, but will scale back the over play.

Wow, I after reading and watching some video I am very confident that ND will move the chains quite a bit on NV's D. I would love to see NV win since I am living in the area, but, it's very unlikely especially on the road.
