I didn't see anything about injuries or covid related last night when I checked out the game. I was excited to see the x Kentucky player Juzang make his debut and he played about 20 minutes. The freshman Lewis from Marquette can be a scoring machine. Cronin teams do play D but that always led to points when at Cincy. Marquette loves to get up and down and will shoot the 3's. I'd like to have the better line that's out there now but that's the way it goes in college hoops. Sometimes moves in your favor nad other times against.
I watch almost all of the Marquette games and this team is much different than the recent teams with Markus Howard. They are long and athletic and there seems to be a much bigger emphasis on defense versus outscoring the opponent. A couple of their new players are good looking young players. But the defensive mentality is probably the biggest change I see this year. Last couple of years I would never consider playing Marquette under. Not this year.
