I hear BU and Notre Dame are the class of the field. Minnesota has a goaltender that is red hot. Denver has been very inconsistant, fails to win the big games, and could be the first of the #1 seeds to exit. Yale could be a good longshot to back.

But with a single elimination format in hockey, I don't need to tell you, almost anything can happen.

Miami Denver has a lot at stake, Blasi and Bergeron (Miami coaches) played for Gwoz (Denver coach) in the early 90s when Gwoz was at Miami. Don't knock the Redskins in this one, they have one of the most talented groups of forwards in the country (Camper, Cannone, Miele, Wingels, Mercier, Palmer, Vaive). Team is very young, sometimes inconsistent, but if they show up (which they should after NMU showed them a quick exit in the conference tourney), then they're easily a team to see in DC in 2 weeks. Key wins? How about sweeps over #1 seed Notre Dame, and #1 seed Michigan. Princeton is by far the weakest team in that bracket.

Air Force? Hope you didn't put much scratch on that Vic because other than Jacques Lameroux I don't see the Falcons flying much, they'll be watching the game in the stands after Cappy and Palushaj torch the lamp.

Duluth got lucky to make the field and just rode a hot goalie all the way to the WCHA championship.

BU obviously the overall number 1 seed, but the puck bucks have a lot of talent on their roster too, Terriers should advance but OSU may give them a game.

Also Catamounts over Yale, easy.

F4:
Miami over Notre Dame
North Dakota over Michigan

Sioux over Redskins

lol....$5 to win a cool $500.

It's for shits and giggles. The way I look at it, all they need to do is get lucky in one game, (today versus Michigan). Then with only 3 games left to the championship I'm in the position to hedge away.

My war cry for today: Remember Appalachian State.

Thanks for your insights. it is appreciated.

Northeastern. Cornell has a great record, and Scrivens has good numbers, but they have only beat a couple good teams this year (NoDak in the first half of the season when they were pretty bad), and Princeton in a 1 goal game. They also haven't been playing well in the second half of the season. Northeasterns scoring might not be spread out as much, but Thiessen is a guy who has faced a lot of great scorers this year, they might not have beat too many tourney teams, but they've had a lot of games against them to get them ready for this weekend. THey should take the Big Red.

Didn't even need to remind me of App. Michigan and Miami fan here, I knew of Air Force from last year when they took #1 seed Miami to OT in last years regional. Wolverines looked awful, and Volkening looked amazing. Honestly I can easily see AF winning that regional now, they just knocked out the best offensive team right away.

And did someone mention the Redskins? Up 4-1 on the Pios :dancefool@):)
