Firstly neither team will rush for more the 150 yards, Maybe closer to 100 yards is more like it. Bama's QB played lights out in 1st game, UGA's QB played poorly, he was attacked by Bama's front 7 all night as I predicted Saban would do. Stetson gave up 2 Ints and should have had a pick six. He was sacked 3 times and hit on almost every play. Bama will come after him again, has Stetson matured over a few weeks to handle the pressure this time? Can UGA scheme better to protect him? Smart knew Bama was coming after Stetson last game and could not stop them.

With no running game both teams will depend totally on their QB's. In that case it has to be Bama in a much closer game. Vegas opened the game Bama +2.5 now +3. Getting points with Bama is such a huge game is hard to turn down. Saban knew from back in August it would be Bama vs UGA in Champ game for a second meeting. You can bet your bottom dollar that he will have them ready just like he did in SEC champ game.

CB...cant argue a whole lot against your pick given G1 w/ these 2 teams....GA was -6 & now G2 -3, so Vegas certainly has an opinion.

Doesn't it seem a little too easy? Again, I understand and would surmise already that the overwhelming Tkt & $ for Bama is stupid.

Good luck. I haven't decided. Only thing that I cannot cap is Bama QB having a really bad game &/or getting injured. But I'd think Kirby maybe had a grand plan of G1 not mattering since GA was in playoffs w/ a loss to Bama...so he was so coy in baiting Bama to show all it's cards & he's got a master plan to D up, bottle up, Bama O like Auburn did (for 4 Qs); he's got to have a plan for his QB also, LOL.

Former coaches of Saban certainly don't have any track record

seems like the ga - mich game was a repeat of the bama - ga game just different uniforms... Should be a closer game this time as you say...
I am not betting either team...but I am betting on saban.... you either bet on him or don't bet as NO coach will out coach him....

Saban surprisingly abandoned the run vs GA.
Then surprisingly ran the ball down Cincy's throat.
Knew both team's strengths and weaknesses and exploited them...
Both led to romps.
Will Smart adjust?
Bennett is a better QB than the narrative by the way...
We shall see.

I agree especially when he’s got time to plan. This game he doesn’t have that luxury where advantage is always Saban. 1 week and a lot of confidence from G1. Can he create an underdog mentality like he gave away at presser…which was very uncharacteristic of Saban IMO. It wasn’t business as usual and cards close to vest. He actually threw it out there of everyone thinking Bama underdog and no chance vs this “new” Georgia juggernaut…he relished it.

Like I mentioned, did Kirby bait him knowing the grand prize and warfare would be this game and not the SEC ship game?

should be an awesome game... I keep thinking about fisher from day one saying he would kick saban XXXX and he did... I have not been high on bama all year they certainly have flaws as we have all seen... but he does wins championship other than clemson with pretty boy and l s u ...ga QB is not no wear near as good as either of these...... I think he ran ball against cinn to eat up clock he and everyone knew cinn was no competition.. will ga come in coky after killing mich

Saban has only lost one NC game and that was against a loaded Clemson, with Sunshine at QB. Stetson is no sunshine.

If UGA sells out to slow down Young with pressure, look out Bama will rush for 200+ yards. For UGA they are going to have to score 30 in this game and pray Young as a few TO's. To get 30 points Stetson will have to play a perfect game. Has he matured in 3 weeks to play under pressure with crimson draped all over him?

Saban and Kirby know all of this, it should be a great game, I'm guessing higher scoring and tight as a tick. Who has the better kicker and would you rather have Young or Stetson in for OT?

BOL I've had a fantastic season, hope my insights and knowledge have helped to light another candle. A candle loses nothing by lighting another. America is no place to live in poverty.

He's lost twice. Watson and Clemson also beat him

anyone thought maybe after the GA Michigan game ga may be a little over confident..... also I have heard many times it's hard to get that emotional and up for a game then turn right around and do it again... so I think bama has the advantage here... should be a great game tonight

Saban exposed UGA defense in space, unlike Harbaugh could. Saban has superior talent at QB and with players in space.

In 3 weeks since the SEC champ game, UGA will be no better in space. Playing in space is pure athletic talent. Having watched 10,000 hrs of film with a HOF DC, I can tell you only NFL level talent can play in space vs Bama. UGA does not have that talent as Saban demonstrated in the SEC game.

UGA will need to get to Young, it's their only chance. But, that will be very difficult as we saw in the 1st game. He moves well and can throw on the run. No worries, Saban will have an answer for Menche being sidelined.

If UGA sells out to get to Young watch for Bama to get 200+ yards on the ground.

A few Bama OL starters are banged up... might be an important factor if they are not at 100% or of course if they are out. I still say GA did not go all out hair on fire win or die trying like Bama did last game, and Vegas knows it.
Impossible that GA had no sacks last game even when blitzing, when other teams did sack Young (did Auburn sack him 7 times)?
Agree that both teams will likely struggle running at least in the first half and thus it might be a passer versus passer, if so.
Agree Saban is a master pregame and ingame strategist.
Agree Bennett is not top notch, but I do think he is better than the narrative and that he will use his legs to get yards and throw successfully after avoiding the rush, both more than last game.
I am not a "interpret the line" bettor, but I still think Vegas set the line at Bama + 3 for a reason...
For that and other reasons I lean to GA -2.5 right now, might change my mind when later info comes in, but either way not a good game to go BIG on. If you take Bama maybe do some small alternate lines, Bama -7 or higher in case it is a repeat of game #1.

I'm going to add the over live if, the 1Q is tight and low scoring. Hoping the books move it into the 40's before half time. Both offenses are too good to contain for 4 Q's. Both teams have talent all over the field. Young can move the pocket and run if he has opportunity. Stetson needs to play better with DE's and LB's chasing him.

Maybe Vegas is trapping Bama $$ but I doubt it. By game time the sides will be even and Vegas will milk the dumb bets and the vig on a huge number of bets.

Trust me in the 1st game UGA wanted to end Bama's playoff hopes. No way did they want to see Bama again. We got the two best teams so let the celebration begin.
