Houston Rockets -5
Tonight a 2-8 HD ATS (Utah) hosts a 3-6 AF ATS (Houston). We find the Rockets tonight as 5 point favorites on no rest after losing by 13 to San Antonio. This is normally a lot of points to ask for especially on the road and usually I'll go with the home dog with numbers like these. However, Houston is the much superior squad. They have had trouble with Utah, losing a month ago and 2 of 3 this season, but tonight the Jazz are even more inferior without Kirilenko and Boozer. Many people are asking whether or not McGrady will be able to play on that hip. Well, time and time again I've doubted his abilities and he has shown me up everytime. Tonight, I'm going to give him his much overdue respect and consider him a warrior who will show up to play. Last night's fourth quarter breakdown may carry over into the first quarter tonight, but the Rockets will wake up as they know they are fighting for playoff position. Yesterday I expected Sura to show up big but I also thought McGrady was out. Tonight I know McGrady is playing and expect the same from Sura. Last time Sura played the Jazz he put up 24 points and grabbed 10 boards in a 19 point Houston win. He could make the difference if he can come up with at least half that performance. Utah has won 2 of 3 SU/ATS but both came at home to the Lakers and Milwaukee, two teams that are in shambles especially on the road. Good Luck tonight! I hope I can get out my NBA inconsistency and start bringing more winners until this season is over.
