Hey Joe. Good luck with your picks. :toast:

I'm curious why you buy the points? I'm still new to sports betting but it seems like you lose value by doing that. Do you always buy extra points or did you just do it for these two picks for some reason?

Yes, value is lost when buying points. I'm using "a system" to make these NBA picks and "the system" requires buying points...so with this system...
I always buy NBA points . I have found that the oddmakers are pretty close in setting spreads (ie last night's Lakers/Bucks game was set at
(+/- 13.5 point spread) and the end result was a 13 point difference in the score! Though they don't always get it (the spread) right-they're
pretty good. So, a purchase of a couple/few points AND picking the game using the system gives me "an edge" in seeing a winning wager.

This "system" that you are using Smoken is the John Morrison system. I can guarantee that if Orlando loses tonight, you will chase and play them again tomorrow night against Portland. If Orlando wins, you will play the Knicks on Saturday, then the Jazz on Sunday, buying 2.5 points each time. The only thing you do different is buy 2.5 pts instead of 3 like in his system. Not trying to start anything, but if you are going to post this guy's system, at least don't try to pass it off as your own.

Good luck with the plays.

Action2 Thank you for the regards and your posting. Please refer to my previous postings and quote where I have passed this system off as my own...I have merely stated I am using a system...and I have posted picks
as have many others. I plan to do no such thing as chasing teams...
though, I will admit, I will make a progression play after a loss only to cover a loss. Then when a win occurs I will not count it as a win since the win will have only covered a loss and resulted in a breakeven.

Best Regards,

I say "chase" and you say "progression play", tomato/tomoto, sounds like the same thing to me...

Am I correct that you will play the Knicks on Saturday and the Jazz on Monday, buying 2.5 pts each time??

Action2 The progression play I am talking about is with the
covering of a loss not with staying with the same team....

So it is not tomato/tomoto It is this...

So, as you know, in sportsbetting you need to manage the pick
(make a the right choice) and manage the money....the progression
I'm talking about is covering the loss (money) and what I understood you
to say is that I would chase the team (in this case the Magic) I have no plan in chasing teams. As for the Knicks on Saturday and the Jazz on
Monday-no this is not my plan, though I have not looked at the games
being played on those days yet.

Best Regards,

Just curious, how do you figure out what team(s) he will play next based on the outcome of his current pick? What is your system to determine this?

It is an NBA road system used by a statistician. Next Wednesday(the 17th) there are 4 of these plays out there.

It becomes clear to me now. All 3 picks that I received from John Morrisson were road picks. Starting with the Hawks, Bucks and last night the Magics. This is amazing...sumbitch! :lolBIG:
