is the worst and most inconsistent of any sport.

the officials often times are impact players

and no, I didn't bet the Jazz either. The highlights on ESPN are all I needed for another good laugh.

hey Stern, maybe you should suspend Fisher!

while the undisputed cheap shot champion of the world plays on.

i agree, cant they switch out some of these old refs, they think they need to determine the outcome of the game.

Ridiculous to think that the officials dont determine the outcomes of these games.

Just as bad as the NFL.

One thing to remember is that a ton of money is dependent on outcomes of todays games...

In other words, do you think the Spurs or Jazz would bring in more viewers, tv revenue, betting, jersey sales, hats and shit..?

Just like the Bears making the Superbowl. The Saints got fucked on 3 key play calls, two that were challenged and got screwed on all 3. Now, are there more people in Chicago or New Orleans? Who has the bigger history to attract fans?

C'mon guys, this shit all boils down to $ and the NBA and NFL know what sells....if you dont understand that part of the business then at least be aware that it MAY happen..especially in big games.

very true, but i would think they would want to extend the series as long as possible, more tv time and interest. now sa is pretty much a lock instead of a 2-2 series.

Spurs were the better team last night, no doubt, BUT...

Fisher received two technicals for doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ON EITHER PLAY!

Truly amazing.

Very true Yanni...Is why I expect Utah to win in SA next game...the Finals bring in much more than the conference finals, although doing the math, a longer series makes more sense..

After taping game and reviewing I would have to agree that the refs in game 4 Jazz/Spurs were very inconsistent and often wrong.
The two techs on Fisher, maybe he said something that earned him 1, but the little bump with Gino definitely didn't warrant a T.
Jeez, Fisher practically had his head taken off by Baron Davis in the GS series and there was no call.
Oberto taps in a basket while the ball was clearly in the cylinder and no offensive interference call. Parker drives and sends D Williams sprawling and no charge call.
Need I forget to reply to gtc08's comments, the Jazz drove the lane as often as Spurs, but the Spurs got the calls and the flops.
Summary: Spurs 17 fouls, Jazz 27 fouls
Spurs 30-41, Jazz 14-20 from the charity line.
At least make the Spurs earn the win, they don't need any zebra help.
This game should have been a contest down to the wire had the officiating been a bit less bias.

i agree the league needs to do a better job at officiating, but referring basketball is impossible because a foul could be called on every play.
