Spinch I'm suprised Nate didnt get a fed ex package that blew up when he opened it a couple of months ago. Send him swimming with the fishes. I still feel bad for you on that one. So the rematch is tomorrow night (untelevised) and I find the line at Pinny kind of interesting. Tiger beat him last time they fought. There was no draw to it. He just outhustled him. Why havent we heard anything from this guy since that fight which was like two years ago? The guy is 36 years old and hasnt capitalized on probably the biggest fight of his career.

Nate seemed genuinely troubled with himself after the Penden fight and has vowed to come storming back. I did have him beating Cassamayor by 1 point. Anyway, the line at Pinny is Campbell -324 and Martinez +294. Interesting being that most people thought Martinez beat him in their last fight.

Is Tiger worth a shot?

wellllll.......

i honestly think campbell is the better guy...and i think that having fought once gives campbell an edge...i think he`s more flexible than martinez....

but,,,,,and it`s a big fat but...what`is campbell`s mental here?....

martinez is almost 36 yrs old...and if campbell blows,i think it`s pretty much curtains for him...

i must have a thing for campbell...i parlayed him with randy griffin over julio garcia...i think garcia is done...griffin is younger...taller...imo,better...fighting at home...has fought as high as lt. heavywt while garcia has campaigned mostly at jr middle as of late...

looks like a mismatch...

and i played another par with brit graham earl at -220(got in when it opened...lol)..

campbell could f-ck me....i`ll give him one more chance....

i wouldn`t blame you for taking the odds,though....

everybody`s talking tyson....i played the under4.5 small when it was do-able(-133)...

i parlayed tyson inside the distance with in jin chi....

then,i played williams very small as a hedge....

if this goes the distance, which it won`t,tyson may be in trouble....but,i can`t believe freddy roach wants tyson to go 10 in his first real fight in almost 2 years...at 37,in his first fight back,he`ll be half dead by the tenth....

i can`t believe tyson wants to extend this any farther than necessary...

Im shocked, you were pretty adament about never laying a dollar on him again. Time heals I guess. I read some quotes from Tiger and he seems pretty confident. He says that he's 36 but dont worry - we'll see that he has alot more boxing left in him.

I guess I'll lay off.

if you like him, throw a couple bucks on him....as i said,i`m becoming fixated on campbell...maybe i`m not objective...

after last weekend, you can afford a small throw away...

the griffin/garcia bout looks strange to me...i was wrong...griffin`s only a little younger....but he has a pretty solid amateur background....garcia has basicallly none....and he`s the much bigger guy....fighting at home vs basicallly a jr middleweight....after fighting super middles and a few lt heavies...garcia coming off two stoppages into fighting the much bigger prospect....

are they ready to relegate garcia to opponent already?

I feel Nate will emerge victorious here. He
will fight focus and determination. As a side
note, Peden thinks he is a world beater now.
I remember him saying he "wasn't looking past
Marquez". Sounds like a cocky little bugger
if you ask me. I've been following Peden and he
ain't that good. Campbell handed him a gift and
has anguished over it since. Campbell will win.

nate makes martinez pay big time....i think he had him down 3 times....then martinez decided to foul his way out of getting k.o.`ed....

griffin stops garcia....liked this one very much....

and graham earl stops murray....

under 4.5 in tysomn williams hits........

and the hedge with williams hits at almost 8-1.....love it...

only loser is the chi/tyson inside the distance par....

life is good....

tonight?.....not much here,wagering-wise...you could parlay marquez and morales........but,being that friday was excellent and the last few weeks have been lucrative,i`m gonna try a couple large dogs in a small way...

i`ll take a small wager on heriberto ruiz vs rafael marquez(+475).....i don`t think ruiz is strong enough to keep marquez off him for 12.....i`m actually a big marquez fan...one of my bigger dog paydays was when marquez dethroned tim austin....

that said, ruiz is a very solid boxer...knows how to tie guys up...and throws nice combinations...is a little taller than marquez....

his problem is that he really doesn`t have enough pop to keep a big puncher like marquez off him for 12...

but,if he lulls marquez into a long fight, who knows...he`s never been stopped...marquez has never lost a fight in which he wasn`t stopped...and i doubt that ruiz can stop him...

but who knows?...ruiz has some talent...maybe 1/3 of a unit to win almost a unit and a half... wtf....we`re playing with their money...

gun to my head...marquez is to strong...but,ruiz can make him sweat a little...maybe marquez looks past ruiz a little after his easy defense vs that white guy that couldn`t fight a lick...ruiz can fight a bit.....he`s no stiff..with a little more power,he`d be very tough... ..the problem is that marquez seems to get better each time out...

also 1/3 of a unit on carlos hernandez vs el terrible(+380)...hernandez is a bull...he comes forward and throws punches....and he can do it for 12 rounds....as we saw vs tough steve forbes...a great fight...non-stop action...and forbes is no slouch...not much power....but he`s an excellent, tough fighter...

morales is morales...a pfp guy...a boxer/ puncher extrordinaire....but he can be lured into punchouts....and he`s seen some incredible wars of late...have they taken a toll?.....maybe...

i thought that jesus chavez gave him hell...if he hadn`t been injured during the fight, and had to fight one handed for a large part of the bout, who knows.....it was not an easy fight for morales...

hernandez is like chavez...very tough...excellent whiskers....relentless volume puncher...

he has fought quite a few bouts at 136.......morales has just stepped up to 130....hernandez is the bigger guy naturally....

if the tale of the tape is correct,we have a decent 6" reach disadvantage to consider......but only around a 2" height disadvantage...not exorbitant...

and hernandez` 3 losses have been to 5`11" master boxer genaro hernandez, master boxer floyd maywether, and 6`0" aaron zarate....he`s never been stopped...

i have noticed morales slowing down towards the end of some of his recent fights....he`s the younger guy...in age...maybe not in mileage....

morales is the much more skilled guy here...but,if he can`t get hernandez out in the first half of the bout.....if he doesn`t work hard in the first half of the bout to slow hernandez down in the second half, the second half could be a war of attrition....

and it has to be said that morales has faced the much tougher caliber of opponent...

do i honestly think think i`ll hit either of these?.....probably not....

do i think they have a shot....maybe.....i`ve seen guys that i thought had lesser chances win....

a full 2/3 of a unit....to win what?......i don`t know....if one guy wins we are rolling in clover...

for the fun of it....because things have gone well of late...throw aways to have some action without getting hurt...

i wouldn`t suggest anybody try and get well with these....they are substantial underdogs for a reason....they are fighting 2 legit top 10 pfp guys....

for sh-ts and giggles...

Marquez is -500 offshore but -800 in Vegas. You should of almost taken a flight from Baltimore to Vegas to make the play. At least youd get out of Baltimore.

Take it easy on Sweet Pete Frissina. Hes a little Mickey Ward (lol).

I guess Im laying off.

What about next weekend Spinch?

Ya know what? Im going to give you good credit for that Ruiz call. Ruiz won the first two rounds (Raul Marquez is a moron) and was schooling him until that beautiful boxing 9001 uppercut. That means really really advanced
sh!t. It takes discipline to throw that shot.
Ruiz is world class and maybe can beat anybody in that weight class in my opinion. I'll definitely be watching to see who he fights next and if theres a line on the fight.

Marquez has maybe the most explosive pound for pound punch in boxing. He can be losing and down at anytime but with that punch - jesus christ. He could probably knock out Wlad Klitscko with that shot.

But your eye for talent was right on Spinch.

was that a beautiful shot,or what?....that was an incredible uppercut...that`s sharpshooting...

ruiz had no clue he was getting hit with that ballbuster...

he actually did get marquez attention in the 3rd with a counter....

keep your eye on ruiz...he can be a spoiler...

as for hernandez?....i think i pretty much overestimated him on one excellent effort he gave vs steve forbes...he`s extremely limited....and if forbes had been as smart as morales,he would have boxed hernandez...not brawled with him...

and morales fought beautifully..he basicallly boxed...kept turning hernandez...nailing him with uppercts....he learned from watching hernandez vs maywether and genaro hernandez....

as good as morales has looked in awhile,imo....he fought a very smart fight...and i thought he had hernandez discouraged...hernandez was more worried about those uppercuts than his own offense...

i really didn`t expect to hit these...still,despite these little lottery potshots,it was an excellent weekend...

lets do it again next week...

g.l.,bud....hope that gatti 13 grand was put to good use...

Let me tell you something. Morales is a god. He's the real P4P best in the world. El mejor.
He has the mexican fighter mentality plus the black rhythym fighting. The guy is the best fighter in the world.
