Now that we are 3 weeks deep into the new year, I'm sure there are some first year players who have impressed you. Just name the new players who you think will have the most immediate impact this season, especially freshmen if there are any, jc's too. I thought I'd start this off with the Pac-10 which I know...

First year players:
LeGarrette Blount -- Oregon RB (jc)
Jacquizz Rogers -- Oregon St. RB (fr)
Chris Polk -- Washington RB (fr)
Damian Williams -- USC WR (xfer)

Te whole USC OL.

AJ Green (UGA WR, true fresh)...the kid is an absolute stud. He catches anything thrown in his general direction.

Julio Jones(Ala WR, true fresh)...has a bigger frame than AJ, and runs better routes. I don't think he is as much of a deep threat as AJ, and his hands aren't as good.

Those are 2 off the top of my head...I am sure to think of more.

Julio Jones is a monster. Terelle Pryor will get more and more reps each week and could end up seeing more of the field than Boeckman by the end of the season. He is just a damn special football player.

As the year goes on I think Darrell Scott will have the biggest impact as Colorado will surprise some teams in the Big 12.

Polk is not going to have any impact if he stays at RB....

Julio Jones hands are fine. He is not a deep threat because his QB can't throw deep.

Darrell Scott will show what he's got tomorrow night for Colorado.

Jevan Snead is easily in the Top 3 QB's of the SEC now

Didn't say they weren't fine, just not as good as AJ's. The two are different types of talents, that's all.

Agree on Snead...almost included him as well.
