RPM,

So if you ask a book for your $10k balance and they offer you $3k at a time when you are about to be admitted into the hospital, and you accept it because you need the money and you are afraid you are about to get stiffed...thats fine?

The player asked for a payout... period. What he got instead was a book that was furious that they were losing their hot whale. They offered him less than his balance and that my friend is wrong.

They took the bets, they would of kept his money if he lost, they should pay the man his rightful balance.

This is a pretty evident theft. Their history is shady as it is, this certainly doesn't help.

With the facts as they are now, will this book be allowed to advertise here?

I know the mods knew of this situation a week or 2 ago because I asked the same question then. The General did offer to help the player if he contacted them but shouldn't the Rx have contacted the book then to see what is going on? Why would the Rx want to keep sending people to a book with one of the largest thefts in a while hanging over them?

I think that pretty much sums it up. If they accepted the bets, why in the world would he be entitled to anything less than his full balance? They have no problem limiting everyone else that plays at their book (from what I have seen on this forum). Why would this guy have been any different?

I am not sure why people are so surprised at this. I would offer that there are a lot of books out there, advertisers or not that if they got hit like that would need to do the same thing. Mybookie just happened to be the one that got hit.

These places taking bets are not really books, they are places following and chasing lines hoping to make alittle bit of money before they get busted by someone. MB just simply let a guy bet more than they could cover and got beat. They gambled, they lost. End of story.

Trust me they aren't the only ones doing it, and until the books that do it get nailed they will continue to do it. You don't think the guys running these places are as greedy as the guys gambling? Of course they are.

The books that are truly regulated...the British books and Canbet are looked at as jokes by guys betting these days. For low limits, high holds, and all the other "inconvenient" thing the players have to put up with. but you can be damned sure you get paid from them. Of course they don't take American bets, but those that do bet there will get paid.

Books that have miniscule olds, and offer every bonus under the sun are the ones people should really be leery of. But most know their threshhold, and don't break it. That is why there aren't a lot of these stories around. But trust me many many books dont have near enuogh cash around to pay all the balances of people they owe. They just hope they don't get a run on the bank.

buzz,

i agree but i sure as hell wouldnt have admitted wrongdoing even if i was accepting a settlement unless i knew i was involved in some kind of wrongdoing.

not saying the book is right in this case at all. i dont feel i know enough about the situation to make a fair judgement either way.

Not sure if this is true or not, but that doesn't make me feel good. I am a pretty large player myself. :lolBIG:

With that being said, it is irrelevant on whether or not the guy should get paid. If you take the bet, you certainly have to pay it if it wins. You would keep the money if it lost.

If MyBookie has evidence of improper activety by the player then lets see it. Let's see how they arrived at giving the man $40,000 of his $125,000 balance and called it even. That's ALL we are asking.....

Players cannot sign away their balances under extreme duress. That is theft in its purest form.

The burden of proof in all sportsbook postup confiscation cases is on the book.

MyBookie; shows us(the public) why you shorted this player $85,000 or pay him. That is a very reasonable request.

theyve been an over-rated **** book for a long time.If Royal was taken down a while back why in the world is their banner still here?shouldnt others be fair-warned about their tactics?By leaving their banner up shows newbies that the RX endorses them.

I cannot disagree about the duress part if indeed that is how it played out which was stated as an allegation. Royal Sports had a similar issue with the Chinamaster poster when he was well stressed out about casino winnings and I was very against it along with SHRINK.

Crooks. thieves. Stiffs. Why is the book held in a higer regard and given a pass..when it's the player they get killed on this type of instances. MYbookie is a POS book and always has been. They are laughing all the way too the bank. Someone should pay Mr rockwell a visit.

My Bookie is to be avoided at all costs. They are thieves. "Winning irregularities"? Where do these slime balls come up with these excuses? I guess "we are refusing to pay because he is a professional" does'nt cut the mustard anymore. Play with reputable sportbooks people!

I thought all they wanted were "recreational players"? havent we had posts about guys getting limits cut or outright booted for winning a few games in a row? Then how the hell do they take this guys 25,000.00 deposit??????

It seems obvious they knew this guy was a whale and when he hit em hard they are going into their Granny Scammers mode to avoid payment...

But whay i can't wait to see is GCS showing up in a U.S. court to sue this guy!!!! What a frickin joke.....u bullshitters!!!!! Hey Jay C.....what say we go greet em at the airport when they get here....lol this is hilarious if wasn't for the guy getting TOTALLY SHAFTED...
