This system has not been performing the past 3 weeks however the interesting part is that it's designed to be self-correcting. Since I am only looking at the picks of the top 10 (including ties), as the season progresses the best cappers will move up into the top of the standings and those who aren't winning will drop out.

A lot of picks for Week 8 and they're split between favorites and underdogs, which is unusual since the picks are usually favorites.

For Week 8, looking at the top 14

8 of 14 have Chicago +6.5
6 of 14 have Houston -1.5
5 of 14 have New Orleans +4
5 of 14 have Pittsburgh +3
5 of 14 have Buffalo -7
5 of 14 have Cleveland +6.5
5 of 14 have Philly -7.5

Hope you don't mind my posting in your thread.

When I find the time, I do something similar:
(1) I wait until we are at least 6 or 8 weeks into the season.
(2) I look at the picks for the Top 10-20 leaders in the current standings,
with some subjective modifications only when a leader has multiple contest entries.
(This week I looked at 14 of the Top 15).
(3) I look for the biggest disparities in team selections, and came up with these:
- Chicago(+6'): 8-1
- Buffalo(-7): 5-0
- Houston(-1'): 6-2
- Philadelphia(-7'): 5-1
- New Orleans(+4): 5-2
(4) First week I've looked at this season. When the "spread" is 3 or more, definitely has a
winning record over the last two seasons.

Looking for the biggest disparities in team selections, and I came up with these:

Interesting week to tally, as one contestant with 10 entries has 3 entries in the Top 12, and 6 entries in the Top 25 (and 8 entries in the Top 32). However, he has the same 5 selections in his Top 6 entries, so they are scored/counted only once, and my tally is based on 20 of the Top 25 entries.
