[font=Verdana, Arial]And now, the end is near,
And so I face the final curtain.
My friends, I'll say it clear;
I'll state my case of which I'm certain.

I've lived a life that's full -
I've traveled each and every highway.
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets? I've had a few,
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

I planned each charted course -
Each careful step along the byway,
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew,
When I bit off more than I could chew,
But through it all, when there was doubt,
I ate it up and spit it out.
I faced it all and I stood tall
And did it my way.

I've loved, I've laughed and cried,
I've had my fill - my share of losing.
But now, as tears subside,
I find it all so amusing.

To think I did all that,
And may I say, not in a shy way -
Oh no. Oh no, not me.
I did it my way.

For what is a man? What has he got?
If not himself - Then he has naught.
To say the things he truly feels
And not the words of one who kneels.
Let the record show I took the blows
And did it my way. Yes, it was my way.

OK...

2 for one here...

This WAS my favorite singer and still IS my favorite song...

Whenever I feel the need to change my MOOD, I start blasting this song when I can or sing the lyrics if I don't have the CD around...

Does that make me NUTZ?

P.S.

JOURNEYMAN,

Great song but so so sad...:sad3:

What does it remind u of Jman?

Please share, lol...

it actually reminds me of the 1979 Orioles, I remember they played it for an Old Timers game that year ...being out on 33rd street right after the paper route watching my beloved Birds:sad3:

RPM,

It is much harder to diagnose myself compared with others...

Many professionals I know are blinded when it comes to being able to internalize and reflect within themselves..

On that note, I am definitely crazy...

And I don't care..:howdy:

Sure, why not?

AGE is truly just a STATE OF MIND...:suomi:

[font=Verdana, Arial]The summer wind came blowin' in
From across the sea
It lingered there so warm and fair

All summer long
we sang a song
And then we strolled on golden sand
Two friends
and the summer wind

Like painted skies, those days and nights
They went flying by
The world was new
Beneath the bright blue
Umbrella sky

Then softer than
That piper man
One day, it called to you
And I lost you
I lost you to
The summer wind

The autumn wind
And the winter winds
They have come and they have gone
And still those days
Those lonely days
They go on and on
And guess who sighs his lullabies
To all the nights that never end?
My fickle friend,
The summer wind Umm... the summer wind.
