1. Oregon. If Auburn can put up 44 on 'Bama, the sky's the limit for Mariota.
2. Alabama. Let's see if they can stop the miracle worker in the first round of the playffs.
3. Florida State. Even a loss to Georgia Tech would not stop them from making the playoffs.
4. TCU. Three teams had to prove themselves last week. TCU did the best work.
5. Ohio State. They will jump TCU if they can defeat a 10-2 Wisconsin team with a 3rd string QB.
6. Baylor. Both TCU and Ohio State would have to lose for Baylor to get in.
7. Arizona. Another win against Oregon and they jump to #4 and into the playoffs.

No way Fla St gets in with a loss.. If you can't win the ACC how do you expect to get in ? they would fall behind the other 1 loss teams

Not so fast sugar tits... FSU will NOT make the playoffs with a loss. They would have to hope for a lot of teams to lose their last game of the season. Even 10-2 Miss State or Mich St could be ranked ahead of them. FSU will drop like a boat anchor with a loss. And your only guessing with TCU. If Baylor beats KSU and beats them handily (game control) it's going to be a very close vote between TCU and Baylor.

FSU will lose next week, so we'll see how well your unpopular opinion proves to be.

If you guys seriously think that the ACC is a worse conference than the Big 12, you seriously have a problem. The Big 12 has 5 teams aboue .500. The ACC Coastal Division has the same number. The Big 12 is afraid to expand so they do not have to play a conference championship game, the only Power 5 conference who does not play such a game. How good is the Big 12. Well, let's see how they did against Power 5 Conference teams. Baylor did not play one. Iowa State beat Iowa. Kansas State lost to Auburn (at home). Kansas lost at Duke. Oklahoma defeated Tennessee. Okie State lost to Florida State. TCU defeated Minnesota. Texas lost to UCLA. Texas Tech lost to Arkansas. West Virginia lost to Alabama and defeated Maryland. That adds up to 4-6, which is piss poor. The ACC was 8-6. No need discussing the other 3 power conferences who were all substantially better than those two conferences.

As far as Florida State losing to Tech, let's see what we shall see. Cruncher, you had better hope and pray that you are corredct, or your tail is mine. Sometimes it pays to know when to keep your big mouth shut. You obviously have not learned that lesson. You will.

The stage has already been set. I started a thread 2 weeks ago and said that there will not be an undefeated team after the season is over. FSU WILL make the playoffs but will not win it. People thought i was on crazy when i said that ole miss would beat Miss st. Alabama will be playing either TCU or Ohio st in NO and FSU will be playing Oregon in Pasadena in the Rose bowl. You heard it hear 1st, Alabama this years National Champ!!!

Those are reasonable stats..I would still wager that TCU or Baylor & Ohio St would get in before Fla St..Conference Champs would be the tiebreaker imo

You just can't help yourself can you? His tail is yours? What are you going to do if he's wrong, run over him with your Toyota Prius?

4-2 betting against FSU this year, with the only losses being the absurd come from behind victory against Louisville, and the "every 2nd half break went to FSU" Miami game. I think I have a pretty good handle on their over-ratedness. But golly, hope I get to keep my tail! :)

Statistically FSU has actually played better (not counting turnovers) in the 2nd half of the season, especially with their run offense. So yeah, anything's possible. I just like the fact that nobody has been able to slow down, let alone stop GT's run game this year. Virginia came closest, limiting GT to 4.3 ypc. Miami held them to 4.9. No one else held them to under 5.0. And they've done it against a pretty good slate of run defenses.

No way unless they get some help. It's not only about who you beat during the season and by how much, it's when you lose. Losing the last game of the season would put FSU below Baylor, TCU, Ohio State and possibly a couple of others. They'll have to hope 2 out of those 3 one loss teams lose and then cross their fingers on the rest. I don't think Michigan St or Miss St are completely out of it. They have both looked more impressive than FSU.

Alabama vs Oregon

or

Alabama vs Florida State

i'm hoping Alabama vs Oregon just to play the O/U lmao in a game the loser has at least 35pts(neither team is set up to stop the others offense and I'm not sure the extra time will help them )

Yours in Winners

***** The loss of Barrett of Ohio State took them out of the equation even if they beat Wisconsin. Let's face it he accounted for 75% or more of their offense. The appeal of Ohio State is gone...

Everyone's assuming (and I hope all here know the definition of assume, lol) that Bama is gonna beat Mizzou. What if?

First, it is a Ferrari, but you guys in Oklahoma do not know what those are. I would just remind him of how foolish one looks when they make stupid statements. Then I would remind him of how foolish one looks when they make stupid statements. Then I would remind him...You get the drift. Now I am not saying that Ga. Tech is not capable of defeating Florida State. To be honest, I really do not know who will win that game, though I certainly would not take Tech and the few points they are getting. IMO, Oregon is going to win it all, so if Florida State does win out, they get to go back to the Rose Bowl and face Oregon. Whoever buys, begs, or wins their way to the #4 spot loses to 'Bama in the Sugar Bowl. Then 'Bama finds out what it is really like to defend against the best offense in college football, in what should be a very good championship game.

On a slightly different note, most people project OU going to the Russell Athletic Bowl against either Ga. Tech or Clemson. Your thoughts? I am always interested in how the people in here with a rooting interest in a team (a polite way of saying "homers") think their team will do in a bowl game. There are so many more "outside" distractions than a normal regular season game. Do they want to be there? How close to the vest will Stoops play the injury game? Things like that.

If Ohio St loses to Wisky, I'm assuming TCU or Baylor gets in.......I do not see Alabama losing to Missouri........Missouri had a great run this year in the SEC, & has shown they can hang with the big boys, but they won't beat Alabama as a +14 pt dog.

Where do you see that I stated I want to wager on my statements? LoL.......

LOL, I'm just saying, and I have an Uncle that works at FSU, but if they lose to Tech, they are not going to the prom. No disrespect meant CG, I enjoy your posts. GL

Hey LittleDaddy, I drive an '89 Redhead, and I lived in Oklahoma for 26 years, in fact, know several guys with the same car. Tone it down.

Ah shit, here we go again, lol. I posted sometime in the wee hours this am how my biggest play last year was a two-banger, Auburn and guess who, as a 14 pt fav. How did that one turn out, lmao. BOL has Mizzou catching 14+ right now, I'm the cat looking at the inside of the birdcage just waiting.
