I just did a quick analysis of Alabama vs Clemson YTD.

Clemson has scored 280 points versus allowing 84 points through 7 games. Biggest wins are Texas A&M and either UNC or FSU. Record YTD is 7-0.
Opponents’ won loss record through yesterday is 21 wins and 28 losses.

Alabama has scored 341 points versus allowing 115 points through 7 games. Biggest wins are Texas A&M and the Gamecocks. Record YTD is 7-0. Opponents’ won loss record through yesterday is 20 wins and 30 losses.

YTD Clemson has dropped from first to fourth in the AP rankings while Alabama has risen from second to first. WHY???

I know this doesn’t matter as only the Playoff Committee rankings will count. Finally, the College Coaches Poll has dropped Clemson from first to second while moving Alabama from second to first.

I think it is due to the fact UNC had Clemson on the ropes and Bama has yet to have a sweat.

But in all honesty, LSU should be #1 and Ohio St #2 based upon the season so far. If LSU beats Auburn this week, then they would have 3 wins vs the current top 15 teams in the country.

Because Clemson is lucky to be undefeated. Bama has steamrolled so far.

Lol, yes Bama can continue to steamroll all they want too.
Just like last year, when they face Clemson in the playoffs,
they will get their ass beat again. Remember last year??
28 point ass whoop.

Against who?

I get it, Clemson hasn't played anyone either. Neither one of them would beat LSU right now, and I doubt that either of them could beat Oklahoma or Ohio State.

Ohio State will beat both Alabama and Clemson this year if they meet. Buckeyes are number one and after they beat Wisconsin Saturday, that will solidify that top spot.
Buckeyes are number #1 on offense and number #1 on defense in the nation.

I played a large futures wager of LSU +17 against Bama back in July. also got $100 on Burrow to in the Heisman at 200/1 odds.

Granted I was flush with cash from a great night at the craps table, so I was a little loose with the wagers.....but man if they hit!!

Agreed. Most balanced team with an explosive offensive and a stingy defense. Fields is so tough to stop between his arm & feet.

Both beat Tam and that's about it. All other teams they won are/were below average.
I would think because the body of works === Bama made it look easy while Clem struggle weeks in and out. Lawrence has the most INT in the ACC and the conference is well below average compares to others. Not to mention almost lost to UNC which is ....

I would love to see Ohio st and OU in the playoffs, if they're both undefeated.

Bama if healthy would be favored over anyone on neutral field. LSU would be favored over everyone else

I would take OU as underdog against any of those teams. Hurts out to prove Bama wrong
