It's going to be Garza or Luttig, both intent on overturning Roe v Wade.

Does anyone really think that making abortion illegal will end abortion?

I would like to see Wilkinson nominated, but probably too moderate.

Was there a thread earlier that rumored that Kyl might be considered? One would hope he is not.

No ! But it will stop a lot of baby killings! That can only be a good thing. Women who kill an unborn baby should be executed. Just my opinion. That should teach them a lesson!

Very personal issue obviously, and one I see tearing the country even further apart in the hear future.

I hope so. it would be awfully tough for the dems to say no to someone they recently agreed on..I'll laugh my ass of if thats the case....way till you hear em howl then...and they will look stupid because they just voted on her.

It will be another case of "I voted for her. Before I voted against her"....lmao

Too different jobs Pat. I still don't see where she is qualified to sit on the SC. Then again, didn't think Thomas was either. But don't worry, doubt if I will be asked for my opinion.

Pat, just because I vote for someone for Congress, doesn't mean I will vote for them for President.

I understand that Judge, but you know how it will play out.

Pubbies argument will be..woman for woman...I can hear the arguments and the fake arguments on both sides already.

Pat I agree. I think the process should start with qualifications and then move to political beliefs rather than vice versa.

Gonzales would be the choice if Bush wants a quick and easy nomination. I doubt that he does.

The Republicans are joking that "Gonzalez" is Spanish for "Souter".

I agree, Pat, he should nominate Brown and watch all those stupid ass "dealmakers" squirm. It wasn't an "extraordinary" case for the court of appeals, but now it is. I'd like to see the idiots make that argument. Bunch of hypocrites.

Red, not sure how you can say Court of Appeals and Supreme Court are the same thing.
