With the game on the road I guess the traveling squad would be smaller so they did not bring the backups to the scrubs. Hell, maybe Rutgers is that inept, they could have called some fans down from the stands and made it more competitive game.

Need points for rankings. Ohio State beat Rutgers 52-0. Pollsters know the spreads!

Starters were out by halftime. The main issue for Rutgers is Michigan goes 8-9 deep on the DL, 7 of which will play on Sunday's. After the starters were out it was already 43-0. The backups scored an additional 5 touchdowns. Harbaugh let a lot of the young guys get experience. Michigan loses a TON of players this year, which is 99% of the reason Harbaugh has already played 20 true freshman from the 2016 class. Harbaugh loves to compete and he's not someone who is gonna kneel it every play up 50+. Harbaugh runs the same offense with the backups. There are no free lunches with Harbaugh. I love it. In 2014 Brady Hoke lost to Rutgers and allowed Gary Nova to throw for 405 yards. Many of the guys on this Michigan team played in that game. My oh my what a difference good coaching makes.

just a nugget of advice: Harbaugh emphasizes the importance of the game before the bye week and the game after the bye week. Whatever the opening line is for Michigan vs Illinois in week 8, there's a damn good possibility Harbaugh and crew will cover easily.

Some people suggest he (Harbaugh) can be real mean at times.....I guess that is what it takes to win in college football now-days.....
At least he is not a "wimp" like so many geldings we have running around in today's sports-world.....In some circles they are called "candy-asses" and we know how they usually vote when the NCAA enters the fray......
