DETROIT PISTONS plus 6 1/2 vs. San Antonio Spurs

I believe that some late Public Money will be on San Antonio, so if you can hold off or find a 7, grab it...

If you've been following me for awhile, many of you know how important I think 7 points is in the NBA...

The bottom line here is whether you believe that DETROIT'S TEAM, Coaching and Defense is enough to overcome the more talented Spurs team...

Tonight, I believe the Pistons not only have a legimate shot at covering, but it would not shock me if they beat the Spurs outright...

Rather than going through all the match ups because I don't have the time, and frankly, the advantage goes to the Spurs, I will keep it simple that in a Game 1, a lot can happen, so why not take all the points???

If you are going to steal a game on the Road, Game 1 is always easier than Game 2. The Pistons will also show a much more patient approach than the Suns did against San Antonio...

And, hey, Motown has a DEFENSE to boot...

PISTONS plus all the points is a medium play for me tonight...

Best of Luck.

7 is pretty much available with the drop down at PINNY, (although now it is -113).

I got the 7 -107 there yesterday......

First, thank you The SHRINK for taking time from your busy schedule to help us out. However with that being said, not sure you are helping us here. Let me ask you, who is the better team? We both agreed last time, the Spurs. So you already concede that. Next, I seem to remember last year you loved the Lakers, in the game and for the series vs. Motown. Well, we all know how that turned out. Now you like the team I liked last year. It is a year too late. From your track record in the Finals, I think fade is a high% winner.

Rested Spurs have had many walk throughs to prepare for this game. Some tough practices. Plenty of rest, Motown just barely squeaked by an injury laden Heat squad. Now they face a deeper, healthier, rested team. I think the Spurs have a few more rings than Miami. So I will add championship experience as well. Depth, hmm, who has the better bench? This game one is very dangerous, as you really never know what the matchups will unfold like. That being said, the Motowners have been a little inconsistent this season. Here today, vanish tomorrow. Coming off two all out full game efforts, well maybe 1 1/2, I think this is a bad spot for them. I will oppose your wishful thinking guess and think the Spurs by 8. Medium play.

Prop. If one player could struggle this series it is Sheed. Guy is the ultimate here today gone tomorrow player. Tossing up a lot of perimeter shots, playing away from the hoop. He may be on Timmy. Problem is he is a foul magnet. 2 5 foul games and 1 6 foul out game last 4. T's all the time. I am fading him, points, rebounds and assists. Have seen anywhere from 23 1/2 to 21 1/2. Do not go for the points and rebounds, he has zero assists last 4 games. Between his defensive assignment, propensity of drawing fouls, volatility, technicals with chance of ejection, and his incosistent nature, I will go under.

Best Wishes...OF:howdy:

FROG,

Would you suggest the player prop for performance at Pinny regarding Sheed?

Thanks Frog. You have proven yourself many times. Shrink has too, except in a negative cash balance. I'm with you all the way. Hope you continue for the entire finals.

Tomorrow's Newspaper,

My NET record is positive and documented on this website so you sound silly trying to get me with your twisted rhetoric and logic...

OF,

I am flattered that you have to go all the way back to last year in order to PROVE your side...

When capping, I find it best to stay focused on my own work and not worry about who said what and a year ago to boot, lol?

Nice pick laying virtually a touchdown in a Game 1 that reaks of taking a VALUE play with the UNDERDOG against PUBLIC money....

Let's play ball as this pond seems a bit too crowded for me...

Will return after the game to share props or crops...

The SHRINK, here we go again. Bringing up old news is weak. You got me there. In this what have you done for me lately world, I would torch someone who said that. No more history. But I stick with my play and my prop. We were same side last game and cashed easily. Now we butt heads as many times before. But this time you have the dog. I hope I have not bit off more points than I can chew. Best to let the game and results speak for themselves. Thanks Ken...:103631605

in what should be a tough, physical (low scoring) game, +7 is like getting double digits in a higher scoring game. very good value, imo.
As far as negative units go, Shrink made quite a few guys here a fortune on ODU plays alone this past season. The man hits a lot more than he misses. GL Shrink!!!

Not ODU again. We need the no history rule. Line is creeping down The SHRINK's way. This one could be interesting. I'll try to pop in at the half.

I stand by my statement. I know OF has never given me 2 losers in a row. I am up a good sum of money follow him. I can't handicap baskets, i know that. It is just for amusement and the fact that I have made some extra coin from somebody that shares his knowledge makes me loyal.

No offense Shrink. I am sure you have made some people some money. Unfortunately, Old Dominion is not in this finals.

Well prop was very sweet, hit some un21 1/2 +1.45. And hit it a bunch of other ways. 6 pts, 8 reb 1 ass. 15 is under. Spurs and Mr. Clutch Manu who was the nuts again in the 4th. Even 2H paid off. Did very well here as Spurs look even better for series. Also got to beat The SHRINK and OMT, nothing new there though. Added some stiffs on the front page. Guess this is my lucky pond.

Cigar, Wine, Italian Chianti, jacuzzi and a rubdown. How was that TP?
