My father is looking to rent a villa...

in costa rica, for the entire month of march.

needs to be very nice, near beach, preferably have a pool and be able to accomodate 6 adults and 3 kids.

since it is fur the full month he is open to different suggestions, the beach should probably be calm enough for small kids to be able to swim.

SS, one thing to take into consideration is, holy week (easter to u guys) is usually during march and that around here is a big deal, hotels fill up in a hurry, so dont wait too long to make a decision (although its obvious you're not since you're asking in July, but still)

Also, depending on how fancy a folk you are, I know of a place near one of the most beautiful beaches (playa grande, guanacaste) but its not 'fancy' or 'luxurious'

Savant, a place I stay at every year is Casa de Pura Vida in Punta Leona. Beautiful pad with five bedrooms and three floors.

is never too early for you to make reservations, specially if the semana santa is in march, last year i was looking for a house for this year's semana santa and could find anything nice, lucky us someone cancelled a month before so they called us, anyways you better do something now or else you will get this answer: is free for 3 weeeks during march cause semana santa is already taken..

But its not possible to walk (in a very short time) from the house to the beach?

I think that is important to my dad, coz my sister has 3 kids and they will want to go back and forth I think from house to beach,

You can walk, but it's a very steep hill, house is perched on top. The way down is not a problem, but the way up is a bitch, especially under that weather.

Most people have golf carts and that's the way they get around, not sure if they rent them there.

The house has a quad, make sure to as William for the key.

But yes, walking will be a problem.

I think my father wants something with a bit more direct beach access.....
