My BIGGEST play of the Year so far........

I do not move more than one unit a game usually. In fact I don't even track units on this site. I value most plays the same during the year unless there is something that is very out of line.

For example, last year Ohio State in the national championship game I moved 5 units. I have also lost on a larger unit play, and I am not claiming an unreal record. In the last six years I am at 7-2 on these plays.

I follow money management closely, since I have a budget bankroll every year and am still a working stiff.

Anyhow...I am not going to explain the hell out of this game. I am simply going to say that Texas Tech has been the most explosive offensive team in the nation all year long. I watched them in person against Texas. Texas is no Navy, and on the road Tech almost won that game. If it wasn't for Chance Mock coming in a putting together a last second drive they would have.

The price on Tech is low on this game. Navy cannot keep up with this offense. This game is being played in Texas. Tech fans will be there in droves.

I think it will be a shoot out but Navy just can't keep up with this offense. Also, Tech has a terrible D, so laying DD in a bowl game is a tough call. But since I am close to this game and close to my friends in Houston I lay the chalk.

All info points to Tech giving this their best effort.

Also, you can pull all the stats you want, but look out for stats versus Tech. Tech had one of the toughest schedules in the nation.

I feel even better today than I did yesterday about this game after talking to some friends of mine that go to Tech.

This team is fired up guys.....look out for that passing game.

Here is my take on running teams like Navy/Rice/Nebraska....if you get them into 2nd and 3rd and 8+ they are useless.....

No thoughts on the total....but hammer Tech.

Could not agree more...look at my post re: Look out Navy...some posters here talk about navy rushing 3 and having 8 men back,..like no one with a really good "D" and athletes has tried that before!!! DUH!!! Look at how Tech played Oklahoma which has a far better defense than lil ol Navy...and all Navy can really do offensively is run and Techs"D" is bad but not that bad to keep Navy in 2 and 3rd and longs..and once Navy falls behind its over...also you are 100% right about it really being a home game for Tech..Symons and many players are from Houston and should have a LARGE following there..Realize SMOKEY probably has this as a rushing stat play but even the GREAT SMOKEY can't win em all

I'm looking at these posts and just shaking my head. First of all, DD faves in minor bowls have been terrible bets over the years (though 2-2 ATS this year). Also, teams that coughed up 54+ in their final game are poor bowlers ATS.

Who says Navy can't throw the ball? They average 8.8 yds/pass. TT's defense allows 8.3. Neither team will have a problem moving the ball, which makes laying DDs a very iffy proposition. Oh, and did I mention that the service academies are 16-4 ATS bowlers since 1981?

I do agree that TT played a much more difficult schedule, and it's possible they could simply bury the Middies with points. For that reason, I'm only playing Navy modestly, but I strongly feel that's the right side.

What an ass kicking that Tech handed Navy..I am so glad I layed some major units on this game.
