I don't have many friends in this world...yes I know, how sad am I.

However, the few friends that I do have are coaching in today's BG/NU game.

Gregg Brandon (BG Head Coach) used to coach at NU under Gary Barnett and Brando was the O-Coord at BG under Urban Meyer a couple of years ago when the Falcons stunned the Wildcat nation in Evanston.

Today is payback time fella's. I've been in contact with several coaches on both sides and I have to tell ya, this NU team will be ready to rock n roll today.

I was told in not so many words that I should take the points and run to the bank because the 'CATS are about to unload an ass whoopin' on BG in the Motor City this afternoon.

I'm takin Northwestern +7 and the waaaaaayyyyyyyyyy over 56

...by the way, BG and NU have been in Detroit all week. I talked to a friend of a friend who knows a guy who owns a popular watering hole in Mo-Town he said that BG has been in there everynight closing the joint down.

Josh Harris was seen doing Keg Stands and body shots off of strippers! Heard the O-Lineman were falling off their bar stools!

Now some of you might think this is a Vegas ploy to get you to take Northwestern but...

Sorry I still can't believe I bought into that New Mexico crap and yes I'm still reeling!

Can't figure this one out..BG beats Purdue/NW loses to them..BG bearly loses to Ohio St and Ohio St ezly beats NW..BG loses 2 times to Miami O (both games fairly close) and Miamio destroys NW...BG has class QB...and as has been the pattern in the Bowls so far this yr..the Class QB has led team to victory...Right now my $$$$ is on BG...especially since now that I know they party like I used to in colege!!!

Cedar, I hear everything you are saying, and your logic is there. I am on Northwestern for two reasons. One they are bigger up front and should be able to win the ruuning game, and the Wisconsin victory by Northwestern. They controlled that high scoring offense, and ran the ball well.

Tough game anyway you see it. I am seeing a Northwestern team that will want this Bowl win just as bad as BG. Good Luck

I know pops, I was trying to be sarcastic. The big thing on this board the other night was the whole "New Mexico Players Getting Drunk All Week Thing" ...That whole scenario got so twisted that everyone including me bought into this as being some conspiracy by Vegas to bet Oregon State instead of New Mexico. That whole thing got so whacked out that everyone was second guessing themselves.

I'm not second guessing myself today.

Thanks guys. I didn't get the over but I made a couple of bucks anyway. I didn't post the play but I did have Cal and the over and the best night in the NBA I've ever had. So good I might just sit today out and enjoy it. I figure as good of luck that I had yesterday I'm bound to get a good pounding. Oh well, good luck to everyone today and thanks for the kind words.
