Being a Cub fan, I always wonder what the numbers would look like if you took the dog on the money line for every Cub game? Since they are a public team they are alway overpriced and they do fairly well when they face some of the tougher pitchers. Just a thought. Good luck with your system. I'll be keeping an eye on it. I think the Tigers are a great value every day because most people still think of that horrible team 2 seasons back!

You are right on with that! Unfortunately the Cubs rely too much on their pitching. We have solid starting pitching, (with the exception of the most over rated pitcher in the last 20 years, Wood) however our relief pitching is only decent. The Cards are so solid and seasoned (it hurts to say it), they are much better than we will ever be! They remind me of the 49ers during their reign in the NFL, they went about their business quietly and professionally. Every time you looked at the top of the standings, there they were. All the teams below them are always saying, "if we only didn't have this or that injury", or "if we get hot for 10 games". That's like saying if I only quit eating and drinking, I'd be much thinner!...Not going to happen!!!
