The Play: AZ Alkmaar pk -140

Once again Mr. Sharp's play comes from this Holland division. He is going with one of his favorite teams in this one. Though AZ Alkmaar is the visiting team in this match, they come into this match in top form. In their last 9 matches they have 7 wins and 2 draws. In those 9 matches they have outscored the opposition 25-5....thats right....25-5!! In their last 4 matches they have outscored opponents 14-2. And in their last 2 matches they have outscored the opposition 8-0. More importantly in their last 4 road matches they have 3 wins and 1 draw. In those 4 road matches they have outscored their opposition 9-3. They have only allowed 11 goals all season. Bottom line however you look at it they are playing great and enter this match in terrific form. They are in 3rd place in the standings and only 2 points out of 1st. A win on Saturday would likely put them in 1st place. Nac Breda is in middle of the division. They have 17 points. They are coming off an 0-4 loss to Feyenoord Rotterdam on the road. Though they are 3-1-1 at home, they have been letting in the goals. They have allowed at least 2 goals in 4 of their 5 home games this season. I see AK Alkmaar scoring at least 2 goals in this one and with the way they have been playing defense all season that should be more than enough.

The Dutch league is tricky to get a bet down sometimes due to the Dutch government banning betting on the league. Some books don't offer lines due to the legal situation wheras others ignore the ruling taking the position that the Dutch government don't have the jurisdiction to tell them what to bet on.


Don't know if you have an account at these but Ladbrokes were -120, Pointbet -130, Bet 365 -130 although their lines have been taken off until matchday now.
