I know there have been numerous threads on this subject. I am looking for any advice on good 1 room apartment areas within 10-15 minutes driving of the strip. Looking for around $700 a month rent in a quiet area.

Any suggestions, real estate rental agents out there someone could direct me to, I'd really appreciate it. I am not looking for a big place, but something that is clean, quiet and doesn't have paper thin walls. Suggestions appreciated. I am going out there at the end of May and want to be prepared.

I guess you could try something like siegel suites for about that, they are apartments that i think used to be extended stay hotels but they include utilties and cable tv, also are furnished and have multiple locations.

I have seen some Summerlin properties in the $700 range. Most have bad reviews. I am starting to think around $900 a month is where things are safe, secure and better areas?

It would be cheaper if I lived in Vegas than Indy? The coke/ hooker budget would probably be bad though.

You can only do so much online......you're better off when you get out there to stay at Candlesuites or Siegel as mentioned for a week or so until you drive around & find what you're looking for to be exact.

It may take a while, but good things come to those who wait.

When I went out yo stay for 3 months, I secured an apartment from online but when I got out there, & I got the walk through, I realized it was the nastiest place I ever seen.....it also smelled awful & it wasn't a good neighborhood. So I stayed at the Stardust for 3 days until I found a place.

I definitely recommend you do your how work, but until you get out there & see everything you want with your eyes, etc, you can only get so much info online.

I am going out there in May for a week for a vacation and plan to see the apartments. However I am trying to take notes in preparation. Thanks for the suggestion.
