There's enough speed here to give the closers a good run. Have to choose between ALWAYS TIMELY and RUNAWAY KATE. Neither of these mares has won for a long time, both having been running against similar company, and they have almost identical records at 1m. I'll go with the Timely one based on that middle move she made in the mud 2 weeks ago.

Tremendous workout for RHYOLITE on June 3rd makes this former Californian my pick in the 3rd.

IMMEDIATE CHANCE is in good form and the former Hollendorfer mare didn't look bad in only turf try. Hoping for a generous price to get me out of the hole here.

ARKY HOLLER needed the rest and shows he's got a little life left - but there's a lot of speed to his outside. However, the rail looks to be pretty fast so far tonight.

Last try to get the money back is with a Michael Baird runner who needs the lead. EMBLITTERATE dueled and lost in her first after a freshening. Maybe tonight she finds that little something extra.

yep.....sob..... i couldnt post it in time,....had a few peanuts on la gonzo,......and sure enough he came over from thistle and got it done.........i follow these little crooks from thistle and new he was a hungry jock........well wish i could have posted that one,.....would have helped make up for my duds!!
