the only game i can remember off the top of my head was kobe going back to denver.

throw in the fisher suspension. throw in the kobe elbow. throw in artest blowing up at any moment. and rockets fans arn't known for being the most forgiving fans out there. i read hundreds of comments on the chronicle after game 2 and it seemed like they were ready to raise hell tonight.

i dont remember any game in recent memory with so many combustible elements.

also laker fans confronting rockets fans. i remember in the finals last year where the celtics fan got the shit kicked out of him at staples.

lakers fans are everywhere. you will see 24jerseys scattered throughout. you know they will be mixing it up with rockets fans.

im looking forward to this game more then any game in awhile.

There is definitely a bunch of side stories playing into this game (Artest vs Kobe, etc.). I think the Lakers prevail, they are the better team.

I'm lookin at the LaL line and I really, really like it. As luck would have it, in the past lines that I've *really* thought were good have cashed. Four of my five biggest bets of my life have come in, the one that didn't was a blown save on an error in the post season sometime ago - we will not talk about that night. It was the largest bet I have, and likely ever will, put on a single game and it makes me almost sick to think about how I lost it.

I just don't see how LAL doesn't win tonight. Game three is super important, Phil knows that... Kobe knows that. LAL *without* D-Fish is a much better team than Houston. They just are, it's easy to see. I have a friend who I think is pretty smart about this stuff and he tells me he now likes Houston tonight, that he thinks D-Fish's Defense often gets over-looked and that his absence may cause them to lose the game. I disagree. They were the best team in the west without Andrew Bynum, I think they can figure out a way to get past Houston once without Fisher. I mean, he's good, but he ain't fucking Kobe Bryant here!
