Jason Elam

for a supposed scrubby clean HOF kicker the media loves to gush about, missed WAAYYYY to many easy fg's and xp's in the middle parts of the game. He is certainly good in the clutch for the straight up win, but goes to sleep mentally for the 40 yd fg's with the POINTSPREAD (not the game) hanging in the balance.

:finger: Jason you selfish prick, for not caring about the bettors. :lolBIG:

michael jordan...i have heard stories that he never tipped cab drivers and waiters in chicago...dont know if thats true or not.

A story appeared in the Las Vegas Review Journal about a year ago that mentioned Jordan's infamous tipping habits.

Charles Barkley, Emmitt Smith and Tiger Woods were hanging out playing blackjack at Caesar's Palace. Woods ordered a bud, and when the waitress came, he started to hand her a five dollar tip, but then Wood's wife whispered to him that she already tipped the waitress. Woods took the five bucks back.

Barkley let Woods have it. "Who do you think you are, Michael Jordan? Tip the lady". When she came back later with another bud, he apparently gave her a handful of hundreds (they guessed $700 in the article).

Barkley and Jordan are friends, so I guess it's common knowledge that Jordan is a non-tipper.

P.S. Ask some of Jordan's Wizards teammates if they think he was overrated or not. I think I know the answer...

Tooran-never heard that side of Jordan. Scottie Pippen is famous for that however. His nickname in the clubs and restaurants in Chicago was "Non'Tippin' Pippen".

A little unfair to expect the Bulls Jordan in Wash DC. I'm sure he had a huge ego. But then most stars do.

I'll third the Ray Nagin pick.

Very true. I bet even Jordan was expecting Jordan to be Jordan while with the Wiz. That shouldn't detract from his Bulls days.

Blue,

Micheal Jordan was overrated as an athlete, not a basektball player, guy is a passionate golfer and still sucks at it, also could not hit 230 in low level minor leauge baseball. Ill take Danny Ainge over him as a shooter and an overall athlete. Danny Ainge MUCH better GOLFER, BASEBALL player and SHOOTER than Jordan.

i dont even know what this means.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2686228/10-year-sentence-ex-New-Orleans-Mayor-Nagin.html
Former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin was sentenced Wednesday to 10 years in prison for bribery, money laundering and other corruption that spanned his two terms as mayor — including the chaotic years after Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005.

U.S. District Judge Helen Berrigan handed down the sentence Wednesday morning.

Nagin was convicted February 12 of accepting hundreds of thousands of dollars from businessmen who wanted work from the city or Nagin's support for various projects.
