It's got to be Alabama..

Very tough on both sides of the line...And disciplined.

Notre Dame's defense against Nevada who had the #3 offense last year.

For me their discipline went out the window when their "team leader" created two personal fouls on 1 play, first a late hit, then pushing the ref. However, the did do very well, all except for special teams

Judging just on one half of play, I'll give my nod to Washington. So far they have looked like an entirely different team than the pitiful bunch from last year.

The one player I think I'm most impressed with has been Ron Paulus. The dude played a good game at quarterback.

from a gambling standpoint....NAVY! god, dobbs looked soooo good today. And they will still get the huge spreads. this team is going to make me a lot of money this year, i can feel it.

But from a "best team" standpoint, definitely bama.

Agreed..Bama didn't really put on the offensive fireworks that some people would say is most impressive..But from a physical standpoint, most teams would cave in to that type of beating. Consistency and staying healthy will keep these guys in the hunt.

Florida: They managed to get even faster than last year

well, i guess i meant bama was the best team that I gambled on today, and maybe 3rd behind FL and USC. Florida is definitely the best team in the land...It's just too bad that everyone knows it this year, so their spreads are gonna be huge. but i will still be on a lot of 'em- go gators!

I 2nd Alabama
The RB Ingram is NFL type back. If he stays healty any team in the 4th quarter will have a hard time keeping him from busting one.
