I've never seen any harm in some off-topic discussions inbetween & clearly all other forums feel the same & allow it... :toast:
thats because you wake up thinking about race for breakfast and jump in every thread on the topic (or so it seems)
it's your forum more than mine but it is surprising you and others don't notice that so many of the normal balanced posters are gone or barely posting anymore...and you guys let all the balanced mods go which accelerated it....not the end of the world but bummed to see the change here over the years from back in the day...
So, you reply to every single thread that isn't about gambling asking why they are posting about something other than gambling? You have seen there are more threads than just gambling. WHY? Because it offer people more options than just gambling talk. Why would they do that? More posts and more views makes the forum more popular. And these days because liberals have labeled everything racist white supremacy you can't talk anything political without mentioning race. Unfortunate but true.

very easy to ignore the threads that aren't gambling related...you choose to both view, and respond, in those threads...nobody is forcing you. your post count would be 95, not 4095, if you were really focused on sports and gambling here
you do know that there is an ignore button and, if you care to, you can ignore a thread that relates to race issues. however, instead of doing that you choose to tell us how racist we are and "unbalanced" our views are. you are a typical liberal who is liberal until someone else disagrees with them and then that person is a racist and has no right to express their opinion. now you know why you hypocritical leftists are pushing more of us to the right. just remember, there is an ignore button.

fair point. I did at one time offer to start five gambling related threads a day if the mods would start moving all the polictical and race crap to the poli forum...but like others that have faded away I am less interested in contributing these days given where the forum is.....suppose I am holding out hope that this place would go back to a little bit of what it was back in the day. It is what it is I guess....have at it boys...all the best
The "balanced" mods & posters remain as the forum is still strong.
It will only get stronger with New ownership dedicated to upgrades, contests, etc in the near futute.
That ownership I speak of is very wise & doesn't pay attention to a few troublemakers making silly claims & complaints.
I can assure you that if some of the former mods wete still around, who have much less patience than BAS & myself, but a much quicker trigger-finger. many posters who are here only to stir the pot (ahem), would NOT remain.
But you're right about one thing.
When I wake up every day, and look at my wife & kids, I might think about race, since she is of different ethnicity than myself & my kids are biracial...
Harry we've heard the same thing for years now.
It's no secret traffic is down at all forums compared to many years ago.
But the traffic has remained the same strength in numbers for the last few years in weekends.
The difference here compared to other forums is the sports sections /forums get far more traffic than offshore, while some of the other sites allow pics to be posted in their main forum, because of the opposite...
