Wrote this up last night. Game now even. Bobrovsky in net for the BJ's

Canadians enter this game off an 8 game win streak and look unstoppable. They're coming off a home shutout of Vancouver and have outscored their opponents 8-2 L3. We get back up Al Montoya tonight. Al's a damn good back up in his own right.

The Blue Jackets are coming off a couple nice wins over Dallas and Shutting out Anaheim themselves. A closer look shows the BJ's 4-2 L6 but the 2 losses were on a 4 game west coast roadie. One was an Ot loss to La and the other a 3-1'setback to the Sharks but that game was closer than the score indicates as SJ popped in an EN to put it away.

Im worried they give Bobrovsky a night off as he's played every game this season and he may very well be the only goalie to do that.

I think this is a soft spot in the Canadians schedule as they come off the Canuck game 2 nights ago and face the Flyers at home on HNIC Saturday night. Evident by them inserting Montoya here. They are saving Price for the HnIC game. bjs have won the last 2 games vs the Habs but that was in the Priceless season. But without Bobrovsky either as both backups played the 2 games last year. Montoya 2-2 lifetime vs Clb but only sports a .888 SV pct.

Bobrovsky coming off a horrible season and seems to have jump, started his season being named the no. 1 goalie for Russia in the World Cup. Tortorella seems to have these Jackets playing well and I like them in this soft spot in the Montreal schedule with their all-world goaltender given the night off. This all pretty much hinges on Bobrovsky getting the start here as Columbus has yet to name their starting goaltender as of yet but my guess is he starts tonight and gets his first night of the season off tomorrow in St. Louis on the road. Jackets have the best PP in the league and one of the better PK in the league so far. They also don't commit a lot of penalities. Torts says they played well in their 2 recent road losses. I think he's feeling his team is finally starting to play the way he thought he could get them to play when he took over last year and stunk up the locker room. They also got a top 4 Dman Murray back last game and should be back to playing well with a game under his belt. A 3 game rest doesn't hurt either.

I think were we're looking at a Montreal -115 line here as the books know the BJs have been playing well too.

I say take Columbus as a small home favorite in a low scoring affair.

Nice write up, but the Habs are just flat out the better team, but Bob can steal one for sure.

Nice write-up Bushay. All I know is that the line is fishy as hell. Jackets or no bet imo
