Dakota Prukop, a graduate of Montana State has one more year to play and has
narrowed his choices down to Alabama and Oregon. Michigan was also in the hunt
but has been ruled out.

The 6-2, 200 pound Prukop passed for 3025 yards and 28 touchdowns last season.
He also rushed fro 797 yards and 10 touchdowns. He visited Tuscaloosa yesterday
and will make his choice sometime this afternoon.

Damn, the five scholarship quarterbacks at Alabama must be really happy with this
recruitment.

FCS QB Dakota Prukop tells @FoxSports he’ll transfer to Oregon. He loved Alabama but felt a great connection w/ the Ducks team.

Good for him and good for Bama.

Alabama has 5 quarterbacks to choose from. If Kiffin can't find a player out of this
bunch, then he needs to go somewhere else.

Sr. Alex Morris, Jr. Cooper Bateman, So. David Cromwell, RS Fr. Blake Barnett and
recruit Jalen Hurts who will be on campus in January.

I look for at least one of these players to transfer after spring ball. If the transfer had
come in and had a good spring. Maybe two or possible three would be packing their
bags.

*On a very positive note, Bama's strength and conditioning coach has decided to stay
in Tuscaloosa rather than move to Athens. He made $420,000 this year and some are
saying he will get an $80,000 raise for 2016. He's the best in the business...period!

There's been more QB talk around here than I can remember going back a long way.
Prukop is in but for only a year. Seth Green is gone... bye bye fellow.

Then there is this gem of a recruit. He's originally from Desoto Texas... another one gets away from the Whorns.

4-Star QB Tristen Wallace Flips From Ohio State To Oregon
Matt Hladik
Oregon just scored a huge recruiting victory, flipping four-star dual-threat quarterback Tristen Wallace from Ohio State. Wallace committed to the Buckeyes in April but switched his pledge after officially visiting Eugene this weekend.

I really like this guy because his rushing ability reminds me of Marcus Mariota. Long strides, deceptively fast on planned QB runs. He's got plenty of size (6'3" 228lbs) and should be ready to take over in about a year... (right after Prukop)

If every eligible player returns and all recruits sign Oregon will open camp next year with 8 QB's.

You'd figure that Helfrich shouldn't have a problem sifting through 8 players finding a decent starter to run his offense.

Now he's plucking 4* and 5* recruits away from Nick Saban and Urban Meyer. If nothing else, that would indicate a lot of credibility for Duck football compared to what it was at the start of the millennium. Phil Knight had to sell a lot of tennis shoes and jerseys to come up with the kind of money it takes to make that happen. But I think the formula runs much deeper than Knight's checkbook. Most of Oregon's AC staff is pushing 20 years and longer with the program. Between the juice bars and Jacuzis to go along with an impressive winning record over the last decade+, it's not hard to see why these highly sought after recruits are choosing to play here. It hasn't always been this way. (I happen to be in Eugene today)

It warms my heart to see guys like Junk (or big daddy) deny the truth to the point of knowing that sometimes the truth hurts. I am not impressed with USC's new HC. Helton is nothing more than your everyday mechanic. He is not a motivator with a vision like Orgeron could have been if Haden wasn't such a dufus and instead hired a personality that the players and Hollywood loved. Mike Garrett was twice tbe AC Haden will ever be. Bring him back.

Conan, after watching the Wallace video, he looks to move pretty good for a big guy.
Should fit right in with the Ducks.

Man, I hope someone landed a couple of his receivers. They looked pretty dang good
also.

Yes it was his running that caught my eye Clover.
This video I think is more telling than the first one.
It also shows him throwing a few clotheslines and deep balls
with some zip and accuracy. All good stuff. But his running
here in this video is an eye-opening experience.

Did you notice that he wears #5 on his jersey? Seen a lot of that lately FWIW.

I've been staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. $50 bucks a night plus 12,000 Hilton Honors points. (usually $149) Worth every penny. Clean as a whistle the way I like it. It sure beats a Best Western slum room. 40" TV's, Egyptian linen, frig. microwave, Kurig coffee. Gas is only $1.99/gal.
Last but not least, the Pac-12 Network.

Wanger,
There's a reason why all of the carpeting there is puke colored, even if it's brand new.

I used to stay at the Campus Inn across the street from the IHOP. Clean and cheap
(Just like the food at IHOP)

I bet some of his girlfriend's friends are "interesting" too.
Young girls from Oregon are relatively easy to wrap around your little finger...
until you realize that it's really the other way around.
