Took the weekend off since I was getting cold and lost 3 or 4 in a row. Going to jump back in tonight as there is one that I like.
UNC +1 - I honestly think this UNC is not far from being the best team in the country. Even though they are already ranked #1 through some polls I think that they still have a little molding to do before they are truly the best in the country. They need to be tested more and gain some real confidence before the tourney starts. Tonight that molding begins. UNC has who I believe is one of the top two PG's in the country (might put VanVleet above him). They finish the season with a brutal schedule playing I believe 7 ranked teams in their final 10 games. UNC comes in boasting one of the best offenses in the country and are .1 points shy of having 6 players average 10 ppg or better. Not only do they have a veteran pg in Marcus Paige they also have Bryce Johnson who I feel is a top 3 forward in the country as well. Louisville is an all around solid team but last game we saw them struggle offensively. This most likely will not happen again seeing as UNC is not nearly as strong on defense as Virginia is, however, I feel UNC has much more fire power offensively. One of UNC's losses came at the hands of not having Marcus Paige which should be considered when looking at the schedules. UNC is also a better rebounding team than Louisville and Onuaka is probable tonight for Louisville who is their best rebounder. Tonight he goes up against Johnson and should meet his match even if healthy. I expect UNC to make a statement and start this stretch of an unbelievable schedule on a good note showing the country they are for real. Pitino vs. Williams should be fun to watch and we all know defense usually wins championships but tonight I'm betting opposite and taking the veteran point guard Paige and his big buddy Johnson to show up. Time to get back on track!
Good Luck guys!
