Yeah I mean Georgia is obviously the best
That is the one thing I don't think amyone can deny.
Alabama, Ohio St and Tenny if healthy could all possibly be better
Alabam and Tenny if healthy likely are
Thing about sports imo is it isn't who officially is better
We have seen teams win it all that are almost definitely not better which makes the teams who do win that arelikely better more impressive
You win and you are the Champs
The Champ doesn't necessarily mean the best team
But you earned it as a team either way
And whether you are or not deserve the right to say you are the best
TCU deserved to be there because of the slide system . I’m not à Michigan fan but you keep leap frogging Michigan defeating Ohio state in Columbus not a point or two an ass whooping then they regroup and blow beating Georgia . So they get an ass whooping give an ass whooping and still manage to lose so yes entertaining but they lost . They could have gone 0-13 been in every game and you would still make a case for them . If Ohio state goes 13-0 and Georgia goes 13-0 do you want to see any other team take away that chance of not being able to see that game ? Now with 8 team playoff you have to win 3 more. It’s about money it’s another Tournament
Not looking over Michigan game, but Buckeyes would have been favored over Michigan in a rematch. It was a 1 score game midway through the 4th. They brought their A game and Ohio State played a crappy game.
I’m not “making a case” for Ohio State, even said TCU deserved to be there.
But Ohio State and Georgia are the two best teams IMO and I don’t think Michigan would have kept it as close as Ohio State against Georgia. IVe been saying for months that Ohio State matched up well with Georgia, whereas Michigan didn’t.
Point being a 1 game sample size doesn’t prove anything for sure. I doubt Georgia beats TCU by 58 every time they played
Georgia lost by 17 to Alabama shortly before beating them in the title game for example.
