Georgia brought there A game and TCU was outclassed . Michigan had there A game vs Ohio St. Rather have seen Michigan play Georgia with no playoff only going to get worse expanding it . All about the moolah and bringing your A game completely different then old format . Too many chances as opposed to earning it in season what’s next road to final football
I disagree. Earned it how. 13-1? They were embarrassed and shown tonight they shouldn't have been there. The only reason they were there is cause they were given at least 21 points vs Michigan. Tonight was never a game. TCU shouldn't even have been on the same field as Ga.
A lot of being able to compete in high stakes games vs SEC teams is how much speed, high end talent you have
Ohio State is basically a better version of TCU when you compare their styles and rosters
Difference is Ohio State has more speed, more elusive QB, NFL athletes all over the field....TCU simply doesn't have those caliber of athletes

Michigan probably gives Georgia a decent game, but a lot of times styles make fights.
Problem is Michigan doesn't have speed at WR or general explosiveness in passing game to exploit the weakness of Georgia in the secondary/lack of ability to sack quarterback
That is why Ohio State gave Georgia a game -- Buckeyes have elite QB, great and fast WR',s and pass-protecting offensive line.
Stylistically could argue TCU matched up OK, but caliber of players just not good enough
